Kind of sad how both Ironmouse and Kai have both been decent and respectful to one another yet seemingly one of their fanbases can't be bothered to do the same
That's what happens when people decide to be what is essentially an attack dog for their content creators. The creator can even disavow the behavior, but the dullards will still see it as justified like they're behavior isn't extremely inflammatory. If you're going to be a dog, listen to your master, at least. Not a good dog if you don't, and all dogs want to be "good"
Honestly I got great respect for streamers and vtubers cause I can't even imagine how difficult it is to day in and day out come out with new content to entertain your viewers and the social skills needed to be able to communicate so easily with dozens to thousands of viewers that are literally just names on a rapidly flowing chat log.
imma make a hot take...unvalidated hate on content creators is cringe. all slight humour aside i do think its horrible. i dont know why people hate to this much of a degree. i myself am not that big a fan of iron mouse but every now and then i do enjoy videos she posts like lethal company or etc. but it just baffles me why people think its fun or cool to hate on people like iron mouse- or even for other content creators who dont even have that big of a fan base! heck- MY GIRLFRIEND has had a similar issue and shes only posted 36 videos on tiktok. im not going to get into the story because i already commented this on the OG vid. you wanna find out go look for it there and watch + like the og. but i will repeat this. if you think its ok to hate on someone just because. you deserve every bit of hate you had put into this world to come back around and kick you where it hurts. im glad makari also put her thoughts out on this vid. makes more people aware and spreads connors message. good on you makari!

The whole reason Mouse became a Vtuber was because she has common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) , an immune disorder that has left her largely bedridden and isolated. It has also led to a lung infection called mycobacterium avium complex as she revealed to Projekt Melody in 2021. This required her to remain isolated from others, a situation which intensified in 2020 amid the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. She was "lonely and wanted something to do", so she became a streamer. Getting pissed at her because she won an award that she had no control of the votes or the outcome is outright ridiculous!!! And she, and anyone else who streams and uses a virtual model to represent themselves, aren’t obligated to reveal their identities to some jackasses just because they’re pissed at them for whatever stupid reason they use to justify their behavior and actions. Mouse, is someone who’s been dealt a shitty hand in life. A prisoner in her own home due to a condition she neither wanted or asked for. She didn’t become a streamer for the money, views, or popularity. She became a streamer because she was lonely and wanted something to do, and it’s why I have so much respect for Connor (CDawgVa). Because he’s helping her to see as much of the world as he can even though she’s unable to see it in person. I usually don’t write comments this long but hearing about how horrible people are being to Mouse just makes me so angry that people can go after someone over a stupid popularity contest. 😡
you'd think people would be fine and dandy that their content creator is still doing well, even though they didn't win some award. but no... people just have to act like a popularity contest is a matter of life or death for some confounding reason. but at least she and Kai seem to get along well together

I have never seen Vtubers before. After seeing Kizuna AI, I found Vtubers interesting, and I encountered IronMouse content. i like it because of her i was inspired dive in into this Vtuber culture

I don't think it's a lack of morality that's causing this. I don't have a sense of morality and I don't go around being a jerk on the internet. The internet gives people a sense of anonymity, that their are no consequences for their actions. Too many people use that to blow off steam to make themselves feel better with their own lives. And it doesn't help that there's been a growing culture that encourages this behavior in recent years.
Ironmouse, as well as you and every vtuber who's had something like this going on, do not EVER deserve this kind of negativity. How come these assholes are threatened by anything different from them?
