Great to see another "Zoids Grade Up" kit,the likelihood of which most of us will never see or own,and always a buzz to see a new video from SpacehamsterZH!✌👍😆
I dont think the "shared with the empire" text is referring to the Dober, I think its just indicating the grade up works for both republic and empire zoids and just used the Zeekdober because it had the most noticeable effect. But I'm sure you already figured that out, strange it doesn't include a king liger picture but the box was so small they probably couldn't include it
@@spacehamsterZH he is the Rebirth Century version.I would love to get the Ice Blazer as well but that one is really expensive considering that not many were made. Another one I will never get my hands on is the American release of the Dober. And that one never even hit the shelves. They changed the red parts to like a tan color that you would see on a real Doberman. They also changed the guns into orange guns which doesn't look all that good. One lucky collector has the prototype.
We-e-ell... there's plenty of 80s Zoids I have that don't work anymore... the gearboxes all seem to die eventually. All the more pleasantly surprising that this light's still working, though.
@@spacehamsterZH I dug out my old zoids last year and initially they refused to budge, but after some gentle (and not so gentle) shaking they came back to life. Have the same faith on my zoids wild kits 30 years from now, I do not. :D
@@jemster38 haha, yeah, I've been able to get at least some of the old battery operated models to work again, usually also with brute force and a little luck. We'll see about the ZW models, but I'm guessing they won't let me take those to the nursing home with me, so it won't matter.
@@spacehamsterZH I don't presume to know nursing home rules, but being surrounded with shelves of zoids in your twilight years sounds pretty sweet to me lol
Third times the charm, ya didnt break anything this time. Also, Zeekdober best Canine Zoid, imo you can never go wrong with a nice set of blades on a zoid, and I think this was the first to use them if Im not mistaken. Blade Liger who?

Thanks, dude. Great to see you're still around, too!

I have the Zeek Dober as well. It is my favorite model I own. He has his own special place on the shelf above my PC.
Do you know if it's the OJR or the Zoids Graphics version? Mine's the ZG. I don't want to know what an OJR would cost these days...

Stuff made back in the day were really built to last.

Hahaha, I thought I'd broken it when I turned it on the second time and it wouldn't work anymore, but thankfully it was an easy fix...
That must be soooo expensive
I think I paid about 100$ for it, which sadly isn't too crazy anymore these days...
