I don’t know if you guys read your comments but genuinely from the bottom of my heart thank you. This music video has always meant a lot to me but for a while it was gone and the only way to watch it was random reuploads. Now it’s on your actual channel and I hope it stays this time. I have always watched this video when I was feeling alone and it always made me feel like there was a chance that I’d find someone eventually. To the point that when I did I showed them this video to share that feeling.
My parents sung this to me when I was younger and just came across this! Haven't heard it for like... 5 years? I'm not sure, anyways so many memories.
I met someone in a train journey, had a best time of our life, finally departed without any contacts, If I ever meet her again then surely would share this masterpiece with her😑

Your comment is actually pretty funny. The bunnies were out when the song was still new. I can remember the bunny video as far back as 2008 or 2009. It disappeared from UA-cam but I’m glad to see it’s back. I’ve played this song a million times when it was new. There’s a lot of deep meaning and it’s unique for each person.

This one is so much better than the "official" video. The difference is truly immense, to where the other one (with the hole in the bedroom floor) is almost an embarrassment.

When I was 7 years old my brothers showed me this song on a CD with the specific video.. I didn't understand why I loved it so much and why it made me cry but I did. I love bunnies from that day on.
I was known as their snuggle bunny because I would cuddle and snuggle when I was scared. For years on end I lived in a very abusive family with my brothers is my protectors, being 8-9 years older than me. One brother moved away, and another had me at his apartments on the weekends.
They always bought me bunny stuffed animals.
Years passed and the brother that brought me over to his apartment all the time separated from the family because of addiction.
I hadn't seen him since I was 12. In 2019 for Christmas Eve I saw him for the last time. We played Mario party in Mario kart, he remembered I love anime and gave me a Ghibli box set, and said see you later alligator..

January 2nd they found his body overdosed. My brother had committed suicide on New years eve.
Whenever I miss him, think of him, I need an answer to a question or hope. I hear this song play. It makes me think he's telling me I'm going to be okay.
I miss my brother so much. I miss him so much that it hurts physically. the pain never gets easier. This song gave me a tether to.mu brother in immortal form. My goal in life before I die is to see your band play one time. With this song one time. Just so I know that he's listening too.

The scenes with the rabbits reminded me of the original animated movie of Watership Down, when Fiver is searching for Hazel, and the end when Hazel dies and goes running off with the Black Rabbit. That end scene is the only thing that's ever been able to pull some tears out of me. I have to watch it every year or so to maintain a psychological balance.

A little beat confused, both rabbits die of love and then we see them again togheter as nothing has happened, such was the love these two spirits shared. And I get the emoniontal intent for a music video, but an advise from an older soul, don't give up, this is romanticism, in real life you can and should honor the living, you can't do much for what has happened for those who are not anymore with us, they're living through your actions that you apply in the real world to other persons. Bring that treasure that your other half had and use it to create an ever more wonderful reason to live, to not gave up on life because sooner or later you'll catch up in eternity, so be sure to have done something beaitufull !
I always interpreted this video as only the white rabbit dying. The other one is just laying on top of it, kind of like in nature how animals don’t always understand when another animal dies and stays with it for a long time afterwards. But you could be right, maybe the other one died of a broken heart too.
