    I also suggest depowering the kite when launching to additionally prevent back stall and from being overpowered during the launch

      With the highest regards to scenario bases we do not recommend depowering your kite unless you are towards the top side of that kites wind range. Depowering your kite will add more problems with the disconnected feeling you may receive with back lines slackened. We do suggest having a properly tuned bar and in which case would cause you to have full control in light winds.

    Before launching 👍 please look around for other kiters. Remember, who approaches the beach and wants to land has priority. My pro tip: never launch directly downwind of a kite school / beginner in reach ; just in case their next water start attempt is not quite successful.
