The company also mentioned that you can get a service that will contact 911. This seems to be a good service and I believe it is $49 for the entire year.
Weird. Why do you need ANOTHER device to get an alert sent to your phone? You'd think the base station would do that. Seems kind of dumb to me.
This is for fire alarms that aren't connected to WiFi. If you have an xsense fire alarm obviously you won't need it, but if you have a normal fire alarm then you'd use this.
Does the listener send alerts to your phone even if you are not on the same WiFi? In other words- not at home? Should test that
yes, it will give you phone alerts as long as you get phone service data stuff. the whole idea is to get the alerts when you are not home. it works well.
Of course, that's the whole point of smart devices. You can access/control them from anywhere in the world as long as you're online.
@@vimalramachandran Hey genius...lots of "smart devices" don't contact you via your phone when your phone isn't connected to your wifi system anymore, lol. In fact, most don't. So take your "of course" comment, and shove it.
@@JohnAnderson-sm8jl They will, you knucklehead. Either the devices can directly connect to the internet or through a hub, as in this case, to reach your phone. If you could only connect to smart devices when you're home, that won't be smart, that'll be dumb.

Can i connect sc07-w to base station to connect it to wifi?
I don't think so, I looked up that model and they say no base station required. it connects right to the wifi and your app
@@ItstheDaveShow1 no dear that the version sc07-wx is connect direct to app,My device is not directly connected
@@mustafamohammed6745 oh sorry, I am not sure then.
@@ItstheDaveShow1yes dear
In the video, you made the regular sensor connect to a Base Station via a second device. The question is, can 3 normal devices connect to one smart device? If the regular device rings, can I determine the exact location of the fire in the house?
