Can I just say, as a woman in her 30s that is dealing with acne, wrinkles, and spotting, who watches UA-cam and feels like "Wow her skin is so perfect, and she is using a camera so there can't be a filter, how is her skin so flawless" THANK YOU for making me feel 100% better about myself. I had NO clue filters could be done on cameras as well.
James welsh has several videos about influencers and advertising and how to spot the filters and photoshopping. Might be worth checking out. They’re so common.

As a 30-something woman, THANKYOU for removing the filter. It was so validating seeing someone with such a large audience show their real selves, and understand that you’re not alone in skin issues that really is just the beauty of aging. You’re stunning with or without make up, but I GET IT GURL. It just feels nicer not having to look in the mirror and dislike what you see. Loaded topic, but worthwhile talking about, so thank you!
I also used to think that blush always came off, but I've started using a blush stick that's like a blush cream, and it stays on a lot easier, it's cheap and it's from cvs and I love it,

A few days late with this but I just watched the vlog where you talk about your brain always going and being unable to sleep because your own thoughts never stop. Mine is the same way and I have really bad sleep difficulties. One thing that helps me is listening to audiobooks. I also can't focus for the sleep meditations. They are too boring my brain starts trying to distract itself but an audiobook or a movie is just enough stimulation that I can fall asleep without thinking.
Now that I've finished this video, I wish you wouldn't worry about being boring. I really don't care about you doing something exciting. I like seeing the every day stuff. I loved the Flynn bedtime routine and I'm inspired about what to make for dinner tomorrow.

@@amberpratt8927 oh wow. Where I am from in the US what Colleen does is not quarantine at all. It's barely even taking precautions. She goes out all the time, orders food, has people over, has even been on vacation multiple times. Her family is there all the time. We actually take it seriously where I am from, but maybe it's not bad in her square mile of LA?....... Lmao 😂
@@darlieroutine4000 her family quarantines as well so why can’t she have them over ? The only vacation she’s been on is to that lodge where she had no social interaction w people who hadn’t been quarantined. As far as her going out, she takes her son to the park, while socially distancing and wearing a mask. She already does more than a lot of the US population. As far as ordering food goes, she has to order food how else will she survive. I get ordering fast food isn’t a necessity, but I’d get tired eating the food in my home. She’s doing everything she can to the best of her ability and I’m sorry if what I said earlier didn’t come off in the way I meant it. I’m v proud of what she does to protect others. I wish I could do this but unfortunately I’m not financially stable enough to do so and most Americans can only do so much without proper support from the government. Colleen is doing everything she can to keep herself and others safe which is more than what I have done given my situation. I’m v proud of what she does and continues to do after being trapped in her home for almost a year.
She went on two camping trips and did that birthday trip. She goes to that farm near her house and it looks super crowded. She is one of the more responsible you tubers but no she isn’t as hardcore as she says she is. A lot of what she does is performative. I don’t think she is as bad as Darlie makes her out to be I mean she’s not like those shitty tiktokers having huge parties but she isn’t as strict as she makes herself out to be.

Falafel is traditional to my family’s culture. 🇵🇸 My sitty (grandmother) taught me to use dried chick peas, soaked overnight, not canned. Also, I’ve never heard of putting flour in falafel! That probably made it gummy, as it soaked up moisture from the canned chick peas. P.S. Your videos are never boring, because they feel authentic, Love you, girl! 🥰

Hey Colleen! I use that blow dryer too and I LOVE it! I keep my hair in a hair towel to get it a little dryer before blow drying, and it makes it go much faster. Maybe something to try while you’re doing your makeup!

I would have said "because my toddler is wild and I can't get anything done when he's around". But like. No. He's fun! And I want to hang out with him!!! Thank you for that reminder! I love this 90s poofy hair look! I always try to do that kind of thing with my hair using rollers and stuff but I have super fine hair so it doesn't stay for very long before it goes flat again :((
