I just bought a 2022 F3s spyder and I bought the power supply and the stereo system how do I mount the 2 of them together the mounting cover for the tuner won't fit over the power supply bracket????
Hello David, which stereo system did you purchase? If you bought our SSV stereo for the F3, it's not compatible with the Spyder Extras docking station as they both occupy the same real estate in the center of the handlebars. If you purchased our JBL stereo system for the F3, then you can run both the speakers and the docking station as they mount in two different locations.
Hello Eric, the 12v accessory harness on our F3 was buried quite low. If you can access your accessory power harness without removing the side fairing.. than removing the side fairing is not needed. Thx for watching.

We'll be taking new pics this week to correctly represent the version we're selling. Thanks for the heads up on that.

We added the pictures to the site of both options so customers could tell the differences before purchasing.. but maybe we should add dimension differences as well to further distinguish. So FYI, the handlebar bolts you need to remove are actually 7mm and super tight. It was pretty easy with a long hex socket and a breaker bar from Harbor Freight
Interesting... there may have been some hardware changes throughout the years. What Spyder model / year do you have? Yeah.. that factory thread lock is no joke.
@@Slingmods 2020 Spyder F3 S. 7mm fit perfectly. I searched and found it on a few forums where people were talking about the size hex key needed and the difficulty removing them. A breaker bar and the right key made it easy

Do you really need to take the whole fairing off? Isn't the wire under the little side access panel?

I got this but sadly it blocks the speedometer on my 2020 f3 touring. .so ill prob remove it.

@@Slingmods even the power ports slightly get in the way. They need to be adjustable. If I were taller it prob wouldnt be so bad.
