- Two years ago, a social- musical initiative was established in Israel and has since grown to become a sensation. On March 12th, 2019, ILTV joined Koolulam for a mass-singing event at Menorah Stadium in Tel Aviv with 8,000 others and discovered the magic.

Koolulam is a social-musical initiative aimed at strengthening the fabric of society. The project
centers around mass singing events in which large groups of non-professionals come together
to form a collaborative musical creation. Koolulam brings together people from all walks of life
to do one thing: stop everything for a few hours and just sing - together.

קולולם הינו מיזם חברתי-מוסיקלי ששם לעצמו כמטרה לחזק את החברה שלנו על ידי חיזוק הקשרים שבין האנשים המרכיבים אותה.
הפרויקט מתמקד באירועי שירת המונים פתוחים לקהל הרחב, בהם קבוצות גדולות של אנשים ללא כל רקע מוזיקלי מתאספים יחד בכדי ליצור יצירה מוסיקלית משותפת.
קולולם מזמין אליו אנשים ממגוון הקשת החברתית בכדי לעשות דבר אחד - לעצור הכל לכמה שעות ופשוט לשיר, ביחד.

Koolulam est une initiative socio-musicale visant à renforcer notre tissu social. Le projet est
d’organiser des événements dans lesquels des milliers de personnes, non professionnelles, se
réunissent pour chanter et former une création musicale collaborative. Koolulam rassemble
des personnes de tous les horizons qui viennent faire une seule et unique chose : tout arrêter
pendant quelques heures et simplement chanter, ensemble. #Koolulam #SingingIsBelieving
I've been a participant in 4 of these events. they are so uplifting and exhilarating.! you have to experience it for yourself.

Thank you for providing such a splendid platform where people can not only express their love for music, but for also providing a means to bridge the cultural, ideological, and political divide that separates us. By creating venues that allow people to share a universal passion, they start to realize that they have more in common than they previously thought. It would be the height of hubris to think that music can resolve all our societal maladies, much less the decades long Israeli-Palestinian conflict. However, bringing people together on a creative project is a first step to putting people in a more harmonious state of mind. Its not a solution. Its a step towards a solution.

I was so confused, I just saw this yesterday. Then I realised I saw it on the original UA-cam channel that aired it. Congrats on another great news segment! (It would have been great if they had you at AIPAC!)

Singing is ONE OF THE OLDEST BEAUTIFUL CULTURE OF THE DECENDANTS OF JACOB. IT IS PRAISING THE HOLY ETERNAL LIVING LOVING YHWH - The GREAT I AM OF FOREFATHER ABRAHAM ISAAC and JACOB, MELECH DOVID, SOLOMON AND THE HOLY PROPHETS. I am so glad that God has changed his mind about Israel. No more exile b/c of sin. Even God got tired and turn His head away while Israel is becoming a very secular (acceptance) promise land. He created them male and female is so old school, Garden of Edenish...
No more prophets warning about sin like Jeremiah, Elijah and Elisha, Jonah; flood destruction, Sodom and Gomorrha, exile style destruction because of sin. Sin now, now today, sin forever. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked"
This will not bring Peace with the Arab World. It does show that 1/2 of the protagonists, the Jews, want Peace through Love and Song. The silence of the protagonists for Peace through love, on the Muslim side is deafening.
You might get 1 or 2% of the Muslim world to play along. But with the 7th Century Mohammeddan religion, do not expect a miraculous outburst of reciprocal Love.
