Okay, reasons why I'm watching this on repeat, tears rolling down my face: 1) Matisyahu's "One Day" is a fav - it motivates me to jog in the mornings (sometimes...well, it happened a few times in November) 2) The concept of Jews and Muslims literally harmonizing overcomes me in the best possible way 3) The exquisite musicality of large groups - thousands of voices - singing together makes me weep no matter who they are 4) The conducting shown reminds me of my favorite drum major training in high school, where I learned to use my whole body as more than just a time keeper... but an instrument in itself. 5) It has a key change. I mentioned my being an atheist because this event was specifically about peaceful contact of cultures that are to a large extent defined and divided by their religions. Them singing together feels strongly spiritual to me (and apparently to a lot of religious people in the comments) which is something atheists don't tend to get emotionally invested in. Mentioning that I am an atheist and I'm still deeply moved by this video is a compliment to the organisers and participants. It's like saying: Here, I know you expect religious people to like this but even someone without a god is a fan of this. It's also meant to tell deeply religious folk that atheists aren't the immoral monsters they often believe we are. We too want people to be kind to eachother.

Okay, reasons why I'm watching this on repeat, tears rolling down my face:
1) Matisyahu's "One Day" is a fav - it motivates me to jog in the mornings (sometimes...well, it happened a few times in November)
2) The concept of Jews and Muslims literally harmonizing overcomes me in the best possible way
3) The exquisite musicality of large groups - thousands of voices - singing together makes me weep no matter who they are
4) The conducting shown reminds me of my favorite drum major training in high school, where I learned to use my whole body as more than just a time keeper... but an instrument in itself.
5) It has a key change. All good songs have key changes.

A single person with only his belief and his will managed to unite people of different races and religions making them become one person, a single voice singing "one day" united them with music made them sing together by making them fly their soul for peace. With great strength he transmits a very important message for all humanity, the unity and equality of all peoples for peace.
