Mike - I have a mint, never used Sidekick 100 that I have had since I was first licensed back in the early ‘70’s. I was told at the time that I could not use this mic with my Drake T-4XB because it was low impedance. I am now learning that in my youth, that may have been premature - that there is an impedance adjustment in the base that I can use to increase the impedance. I still have the Drakes - is it possible to use this mic with it ? 73 de WB4YDL
Would that microphone tester test the 8-pin Kenwood mics? If so, which plug would you have to use? I'm looking for one that can test Yaesu and Kenwood radios with 8-pin mics.
I have a friend that has a new ranger rci 2995dxcf any recommendation for a amplified desk mic.. Or a amplified hand Mic, but I’m sure he would prefer a desk mic

Hi Mike, Are you still working on turners? I have a Turner plus 2. Was working fine now keys with no audio.
Thanks from the sunshine state.
How can I send a mike to repaire
Mike, I need a mic adapter so I can use my CR-577 (4pin) mic on a Realistic TRC-451 (5pin din). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I purchased similar adapter made by Workman. Did not work. Plugged it in and no audio for receive and Modulation light lit up without keying the mic.
What about an update using a ADC+DSP+DAC+EEPROM for firmware to process microphone signal.
And that would cost? To much.
I'm 72 y/o , blind in right eye, the other has huge floaters. I wired a mic and connectors to an old Heathkit. It was a lot easier when I was 13 y/o.
Thanks for the Video. Big help to decide a sidekick in ebay for $59 7 out of 10... for Vhf ssb use. 73! Jojo
Hmm, might make one of those with a modulation meter.

I have a kit available on my website at "klondikemikescapkits"
Palco and Copper Electronics are probably the lowest price at $34.99 at both places.
Turner makes funeral home equipment.
You should be a comedian loser.
Royce I think
