InnoCyPES: Eder David Baron Prada

Video interview with Eder David Baron Prada on his research project: "Digitalized Power Converter Design for Fast Prototype and Control Appraisal".
"My controller will help to create a better environment to adapt hybrid distribution grids [...]; will help to integrate easily PV Panels, electrical vehicles; but also these distribution grids are better to maintain them, are cheaper, and we transport way more energy for the same price than in an AC grid." shares Eder about the impact of the project.
His host organisation is the Austrian Institute of Technology, and he is enrolled at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
Research Directors are: Thomas Strasser, Florian Dörfler and Dusan Majstorović.
InnoCyPES has received funding from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme. Part of Horizon Europe, the MSCA is the European Union's flagship funding programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training of researchers. The project started in January 2021 and will be completed in December 2024. It is led by Associate Professor Guangya Yang from DTU Wind and Energy Systems.
