Meet Mohanad, a Palestinian Christian from Beit Sahour, a town just down the hill from Bethlehem. His family has been carving olive wood for many generations. They make the small pocket crosses that we sell in our shop, starbazaar.bethbc.edu.

Really interesting history of it. Never would have thought Bethlehem would be mainly Christian today. I thought the Muslim religion would have been the majority. Who knew.
