Hi, Mike! Great footage, sir! The smoke is forecasted to arrive here in South Carolina, USA, today, so we knocked out the outdoor chores early. Peace, love and blessings!
I'm a Columbo fan. I've been rewatching it lately. One of the things I noticed most was the smog. There were scenes from rich houses overlooking the valley. The air was grey and you couldn't even see the buildings half the time. That's why L.A. forced emissions controls. I live up in Kenora and remember the smoke and smell well. Edit, had to add... I just was looking out my front window across the old Welland Canal. Oh my, the smoke in the air is thick. It's reminding me of back in the 70s. The air was so thick and brown. When we school kids had to cross the big bridge in Hamilton, we all put up our windows, despite the heat, because the smog, with the stench of rotten eggs, caused all the children to groan in disgust. Screaming too. The hazy days of August weren't exactly brown, but they were a darker tone than the smoke today.
I live in upstate NY near lake Ontario & its so bad here in our area its like the fires are here! The smell of the forest burning! Its so awful 😔 pray for Canada
Ottawa presently ranks #5 in the most polluted cities in the world for PM2.5 (particles that are smaller than 2.5 micrometers) And #30 for air quality. Stay safe everyone.
I thought it was the convoy fault! Well guess few come from provinces the having wildfire difficulty. Not only location to have this issue! Weather patterns cause pollutants of many areas to collect in one place. All the rivers go to the ocean. Depending on the tributary’s could have same type of results. Love the video hope to visit this historic beautiful city someday
Hey chief, the fires in Canada are extraordinarily peculiar! They all start at about the same time there are videos out there showing this happening from satellite! Fires don’t just start all at one time like that unless there was like a thunderstorm or squall line lightning going through dry lightning that kind of thing? But that doesn’t seem to be the case here. I would think that if you are in a position to go to these places and possibly interview firefighters that are working in these areas. You might very well uncover some very interesting information? However western Canada and eastern Canada are a long way away from each other and I certainly can see where you would not be in a position to do that. Kind of research work. In any event good luck I think this topic could be very interesting if one were to dig into it more. I live in central Illinois US and obviously I’m not able to do anything to research this on the ground. But you very likely could put boots on the ground and get some information. You have a lot of people that are still subscribed to you because of your work during the Truckers strike and you should be able to leverage all those people for this one also?
Yeah and US news saying get your masks back out and wrap them tight as possible and lawmakers standing up in Congress pushing climate change action today

So sad, thoughts are with evacuees and first responders across Canada fighting these wild fires and hoping for some much needed rain!
It's amazing how all those fires started at the same time in quebec. 🤔🤔
Smoke in DC today. Prayers for Canada

It looks exactly like this here in Michigan too😢
Smoke here in New York as well (upstate ny)
I live In Yonkers, NY and I could barely see the trees in the distance. Very smokey
The question now is, how much did trudeau funnel through guilbeault to greenpeace to light those fires in sychronicity?
