The struggle was real after the break, as it would be for anyone. Yeah, it’s quite unfortunate that the LJ broke where it did, but it didn’t stop our determination to move forward, working together and with the help of the Jeepers Jamboree crew. The LJs 4wd wasn’t working, only had 3wd with the front locker engaged, not to mention that both the upper and lower track bar/LCA mounts both broke. Personally, I think Nathan and Brad did an excellent job handling the entire ordeal, and I know we’re all super grateful for the assistance and hospitality of the JJ crew to get us through the weekend and off the trail
aaaah, so you all are the ones that had the trail backed up. I heard it on the Ham radio. No worries. We had a nice game of touch football waiting for things to clear.😅. Was that a fun event or what.😀
@ADVENTURUSS got it. we started late...8am and got held up at ellis Bridge for about 90 min. Someone up ahead had an axle issue. Luckily the jamboree mechanics were able to bring one in on a dirt bike. (trials motorcycle) Those trail mechanics were awesome. Just got to take it in stride. We knew this might happen, which is why we brought the football.😁
I must know more about the LJ. I hope that mine doesn't have that many issues on a trail run. Great video.. 3:50 Is your Jeep in low range? If so, you really do need an Atlas, if not then you should be to save the transmission.
Head on over to the @jeepinbubba channel for his vid.. you’ll find out more about the LJ issues we overcame. As far as the low range thing, not sure, I wasn’t driving at the time, but we ran a good bit of the trail in 4L and 4H. Driving the V8 isn’t exactly the same as a 6cyl… not to mention a 10speed trans vs 5.
Your lj will be fine so long as you properly maintain it snd don't beat it. The lj is a great wheel base, I've walked up obstacles on the Rubicon that TJ's and 4 door Jk's on 37s couldn't make it up. It really comes down to driver skill and the correct upgrades, I've run the Rubicon many times in mine on 35s and without engaging the lockers unless I absolutely needed them.
They’re definitely useful!! I honestly haven’t been able to fly mine as much as I have wanted… but definitely see the benefits of having one, especially when trying to film by yourself!
Scenic and challenging trails + great music & videography + skilled driver + beast rig… great video!
Thanks man! It was a trip that will always be in memory!
Great video Russ! Beautiful country out there.
Most definitely. Was difficult to concentrate on driving for a good bit of it!
@@ADVENTURUSS I always get too caught up in the scenery to capture good content! 😂
Love this, great adventures always!
It certainly was one of the best ones I’ve had yet!
Oh and the breathing exercise.. lol on point guys!
Most definitely! Used that advice multiple times in this trip for sure!
Nice job Russ 🤙🤙
Thanks man! It was an incredible trip for many reasons, and one we won’t soon forget!
Man, you guys really seem to struggle quite a bit, and those are the easier sections on the trail.

@@ADVENTURUSS heck ya and to capture those views too! I can see it being really nice setting it to kinda fly beside you and film going over obstacles!
@@appalachhaun_adventures and scouting up a trail you’ve never ran before, or follows, or simple tripod shots, etc. so many things!
