The format is not the problem, the problem was that YMC couldn't beat Limitless in the previous 2 events. They weren't good enough in the first 2 events and that left them in a tough position. I will admit that the format could do with some tweaks but saying it was the format's fault is wrong. What YMC did was against the rules and they got punished accordingly, end of story.
I swear if you had an editor that makes the video more entertaining by puting video and image while u talk and also cut moments and make the video more engaging(intense in a way) u could definitely rivalized with ``EGO`` quality. Your voice is great for content and your speaking is reallly fluid. i believe u can be great
if I understand them losing the two games made it so that they could have a chance to go to the majors but if they won then they wouldn't. if that's true i don't blame them at all because if loosing is rewarded then that's stupid and the complete fault goes to the way the tournament was designed as it should never reward losing only winning. if my first statement is wrong and they still could have made it to the majors with wining all games. then I agree that they cheated and should be banned however they still need to make tweaks to the format of the tournament to prevent stuff like that in the future.
From what I understand is that in order for YMC to make it to majors Limitless would have to lose in the quarter finals and YMC would need to win the whole thing as they have come second in the last two events with Limitless coming first. YMC know that if they have any chance of making majors they are most likely the only team to defeat Limitless and so made sure that they were placed so that they would face them in the quarter finals by throwing two of their series. Technically if they didn't throw they would still have a chance to get to majors but the chances would be very small as Limitless would most likely make it to the finals against them as a lot of the other teams are not as good. Also, bare in mind that even IF they faced each other in the quarter finals YMC would still have to beat limitless which they have yet to do so it could've been all for nothing if they didn't beat them.
Your understanding is correct, they lost on purpose, delaying series so that they knew which game difference was needed to find Limitless in quarters. Whilst I agree the format is a larger issue than the cheat itself, I still find it unfair as it goes against competitive integrity and is already stated in the rules you'd get banned for it, so it's not like making a foul in football(soccer) where the players can utilize them tactically as part of the game.
