Yeah a ton of crevalle jack and snook swim all the way up to rowlette park. Throw bucktails for the snook and silver spoons for the jack. Love the channel dude! Keep up the good work!
I'm 50 years old and have lived in Florida Tampa is a matter of fact my whole life. Use a small hook like a number 8 with the bread balls, catch a bucket full of blue gills and then freeline those on a big worm hook or circle hook and you will catch snook, bass and maybe some red fish. Lots of fish in the river, I live in wellswood and fish it all the time. Caught my first tarpon by the hillsborough Bridge in March

I can't remember the name. It's a tiny pocket park in Old Seminole Heights right down the road from my house.
