you can also use 2 alternating half hitches to secure the knot. its also how you should finish an alberto or fg knot. then bullet proof it with a dab of super glue
Sometime in the next month I plan on driving down to Florida on a 9 day trip. I'm going to hit some small lakes in Ocala NF, then hit some canals not too far from Miami (peacock bass), then hit the Tamiami trail and try for some snook, baby tarpon, and more LMB. I'm taking my canoe and likely going it solo. I'm going to be fishing where I've never been and am stoked!
That bass @6 : 26 must've been a little frisky with the sunshine warming his innerds after calling the duckweed / junk home for the past few months, lol! Great video as always, good times! 👍💥⚡
I leave about a 1.5inch tag on my polymer knot and by the time I need to retie it's only slipped about a 1/4inch. Frog fishin ya can have a tag a foot long idt it would effect much!
Did you order your Wiley X sunglasses online? I want to try a pair but I want to be able to actually try it out before I order. I have been having major issuings finding a pair of sunglasses that don't fog up on me when I am fishing...I have tried Oakley and Costa's and all of them fog up on me!
Enjoy your videos. In this video I would of liked to hear more about your technic using the frog. Like slow, jerking, fast or whatever. I want to be good at using frogs. Also best technical for setting hook. Thanks for listening.
That's just too funny, I grew up on the Hillsborough River. Spent countless hours fishing and water skiing all up and down from the 56th Street bridge to the Narrows all the way down to Lowry Park at the dam. I was just curious what bridge was that you guys went under, was it the 56th Street Bridge or the 40th Street Bridge. I definitely miss having water all around me luckily I live in a neighborhood with two lakes hear in Georgia near Atlanta Motor Speedway, south of Atlanta. I've got a million stories about living on that River.
I personally enjoyed the part where he gets frustrated after missing that fish twice...its good to wake up come back to reality sometimes. Good stuff BL . Keep fishing
I've caught some nice bass out of the Hillsboro river especially back in the 1970' s and my father and grandfather caught nice bass there in the 1940' s, u think I'm gonna run down to Okeechobee , around clewiston, doesn't look like your in a major city does it?looks like your in the Temple Terrace area it's a nice area of the river.
Grieco strikes again, man I wish I was out there that day seeing you guys we coulda showed our fish. I'm always down for a fun challenge scott martin style.. lol

7:15 mark- breakdowns the mindset. As far as action it’s always subjective to the day and something you have to work to find out.
Is this a old video or is it in december?
A few weeks ago
3:57 Who in the world has a PALOMAR knot slipping?? Never in all my 25 years of fishing had one slip.
ArbitraryLifestyle me either but people talk about it like it’s a problem with braid.
Brian Latimer I never use double Palomar and never had a problem slipping with one Knot.

You guys can fish and really dodge rods. lol

CRex1999 fr the way he holds them can seriously harm them
Just an FYI the majority of the free floating vegetation you guys are fishing around is not duckweed but actually common salvinia
Is it the norm for fisherman to be more dramatic than a Kardashian?
Lake Anna In central Virginia. The Dead Sea as it is affectionately called. My New Years resolution is to beat it one time.
