Chris, you stated in your video entitled, "5 reasons you don't need a grinder pump" the things that go wrong with grinder pumps including getting clogged easier and expensive, but you didn't say in that video or this one, what the proper application for a grinder pump is. Can you direct me to another video about that or give some reasons why you "have to" use a grinder pump? Thank you. Very informative videos.
The main reason grinders are selected is when you need to pump solids against a high head (60ft+), or pressure. This could be from a hug hill you need to overcome, a long very long distance, a pressurized sewer main, or a combination of each. What would be the cause of a new pump burning up? We have had 2 new pumps burn up within first few months. Installers do not know what issue is
