I would definitely watch 3. 2 definitely has problems , but it also has moments of promise. Duffy is a genuinely good director, but he needs a co-writer to shape what he's putting out there. Between Boondock Saints 1 and 2, it looks like he really wanted to make an intergenerational religious ethnic crime drama and action film, but his primary cinematic references were stuff like the Lethal Weapon movies.
Something went down between the actors and Duffy, and they refuse to work with him again. Duffy has said he was going to make a TV show that was a prequel, following the boys when they were younger, but that has yet to materialize.
My favorite part of this movie (which came out right when I was starting College, and that's where I discovered it) is the ending right at the credits where the guy is saying of how these guys are being regarded as superheroes and someday kids will have posters of Batman Superman and Boondock Saints.... That full epilogue makes people think for themselves versus with the studios or the media wants you to think about this movie or people doing vigilante justice in general... And on my college dorm wall hung a Batman poster Dark Knight, my best friend had a Superman poster hung up on his dorm room wall, and we both had Boondock Saints posters

Thanks to the Walking Dead Cons, I’ve gotten to meet Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco. I wasn’t able to get a group photo, but I met them all separately and got photos. I met David in a hotel bar and asked him for a selfie and he took my phone and proceeded to take a bunch of pics and was really nice and funny. I got Sean at his booth the next day and he was actually packing up and I thought it would be rushed, but we chatted quite a while and I got a bunch of pics (he also grabbed my phone & took tons) and an autographed book he wrote. Now meeting Norman has always been a rushed even since EVERYONE wants to meet him and I’ve only gotten to do photo ops and you get 3 seconds, barely time for anything. I’ve don’t that 3 times now, but the first time was the best. I told him I’d been a fan since his movie called “Six Ways to Sunday”. It came out in 1997 and I actually watched it because Debbie Harry was in it and I always loved Blondie. It was a weird movie, but actually had some big stars in it and I actually liked it. After seeing Norman in it, I became a huge fan and then proceeded to follow his career. I actually worked at a chain of video stores later on and it made it easier to see everything he was in. Hell, I only started watching The Walking Dead because of Norman, and I stayed because it was so good. We like driving distance from where they film the show and we’ve been a bunch of times, even going to his and Greg Nicotero’s restaurant called Nic & Norman’s. If you ever get the chance to go it’s in the town called Senoia, Georgia. They film a bunch of other stuff around there too since there is a movie studio in that town and also close by is Tyler Perry’s studio which they film some stuff there as well. One day I hope to get a Boondock Saints group photo! I know Billy Connolly won’t ever come to a con, but fingers crossed the original 3 and hopefully Clifton Collins Jr. will come one day! I have hope since he was on this last seas of Ride With Norman Reedus.

One day if I find it on Netflix or DVD, I give it an watch since it looks awesome to watch.
Love your vids. Would like to see you tackle 'Event Horizon '. It too is an extremely underrated movie that didnt get a following till it was long out of the theaters.
Hands down one of my favorite movies of al time! I loved All Saint’s Day too!
Jeanna Fine. Greatest example of 'The Wall' I've ever seen.
This movie was great. Quirky, comedic, but dealt with serious issues that have not abated since the film was made. My friends in high school and I loved this movie.
One of my favorites! Thanks Minty!
Best movie. I watched bits and pieces on tv, before I even knew what it was. I couldn't find it again. Then I did. And it's a must watch at least once a year
Dude, you keep doing all my favorite films, great job and keep it up ✌ 😎
Willem DeFoe in drag!!! That was epic on so many levels.
And shephards we be. For thee, my lord, for thee. Power hath decended forth from thy hand. So thy feet may swiftly carry out thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to thee and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nominae Padre, Infili, y spiritu santi.
I love The Boondock Saints. I watch it probably way too often. But, both 1 and 2 are my favorite films.

@It was ME , DIO I'll have a coke
And with William Defoe in both Boondock Saints and Spider-Man, kinda wonder if he helped give Sam Raimi the idea of doing that scene.
Good one Minty, now fer part 2, an yes a part 3 would be great ✌️
This is one of my FAVORITE movies of all time!! My son’s middle name is Connor because of it lol, and HELL YES where is #3?! That was a fun video, thanks dude 👍🏼👍🏼😎
Amen I have seen this movie over 500 X I go to sleep to it every day. They are good guys, Sean, Norman, Billy, William, Rocko perfect awesome. Thank you for making the movie. Troy we all let things go to our head. Love the brothers excellent acting. I have yet to find a critic that didn't need preparationH! They let things go to their head.
I truly live in the Boondocks N Idaho, hit & miss wifi. Still need to see all saints day. Keep trying to purchase but No one recognizes my latitude and longitude.
His first script and it’s a true story? Definition of “Art imitates life”. Easier to come up with a good story when u stay closer to the truth
Loved much and wish a 3rd could have been done, but a bing but a bang and have a great weekend
I watch both here and there, but I definitely make sure to watch them both with my green beer and Guinness beers 💞🍻🍀
I'm really surprised that you didn't mention Kitty's story. She really exsisted. The story told at the beginning of the movie is a true story!
A true underrated gem. 💓📽️
I love that movie! thank you so much for covering it Minty!
Loved this movie! Boondock Saints one and two.
One of my all-time favorites
Favorite movie of all time, just in front of "lock, stock and 2 smoking barrels" and snatch
