Production pointer - Eye-line matching would help here. Kinda got thrown off by Peter looking one way and Pierre & Morgen looking the other. Love love love the podcast btw
it was a pleasure meeting you last night pierre! Visiting the riot facility was easily one of the most validating experiences of my life. It gets tiresome attempting to explain how bitcoin is directly tied to our physical world and getting to see that project in person was incredible. Keep up the good work!
Hi, really appreciate the high production value on these episodes. One suggestion, if I may, the all-white screen in the wide shot is a bit overexposed, and likely shifting the white balance. Thanks for these episodes!
Thanks Pete and Danny, this was super insightful - wondering if you could get Morgan back on to chat a bit more about ultimate allocation per age group (20-30, 40-50, 60 up) and delve a bit deeper. Think this could be useful to many as a starting point. Also to be able to share with friends, family.
So this couple are technically Bitcoin OG’s? This is the first time I’m hearing of them. Maybe I need to dig into their history and check out their podcast!
I was like, "who's this rah along, I just want to listen to Pierre." Then I was like, "oh, damn! It's his wife!!" I feel like I should have known her before. It's wonderful to finally see her. If she was astute enough to marry Pierre, she's gotta be incredibly forward thinking.
Danny, the reason one might consider putting their BTC into an ETF is the ease of borrowing against a security held at any brokerage. Borrowing against BTC directly is not a developed market yet.
Cash can rot, gold can be confiscated. Bitcoin is easy to store, easy to transport, can be bought, possessed and sold from your phone. Check your belief again.
A complete Bastardisation of the 51 percent attack. Other than that, it was okay. I don't have a problem with any of the people involved. I would just ask that ALL revisit fully the 51% Attack in order that it is fully understood. It was not conveyed well at all and by All. Just my thoughts. Peace.
As it currently stands Bitcoin is only applicable as a savings/speculative tool for the already rich/fortunate. It is the job of the 'rich' to boost Bitcoins value until it becomes high enough and stable enough that it then becomes incredibly useful for the 'poor'. If you can afford it, it is your moral imperative to stack sats.
Why can’t it be a savings technology for the poor as well? $1 gets you 3,000+ Satoshis right now. Sounds pretty affordable to me, assuming you have an interest in why Bitcoin exists in the first place. In the future that ratio will dramatically decrease as price appreciates. I get the argument that it’s currently too volatile to be useful for the poor, but let’s be real, if you’re actually trying to get ahead, savings is not supposed to be accessed often. So volatility doesn’t really matter. If you have a long enough time horizon you know it’ll appreciate, and that’s all that matters.
These two dont understand ordinals at all. Over here we are building Defi , the metaverse and an open decentralized internet chain built ON bitcoin. It is not just a distraction or a fad
Basically banker investors that finally advice BTC, I suppose this interview is directed to new BTC holders, that need the confidents of the masses to feel safe with there investments in BTC.... Looks like a Duck, acts like a Duck, Its a Duck... otherwise good to see all types like BTC for there investors, finally.
Oh Peter it’s so cute how you think Warren is just un-knowledgeable and doesn’t understand her stance on bitcoin and the down stream negative affects that it’ll have on people who need and use it around the world. You have too much un-earned given faith in the institutions/ govt corporations (yes they’re corporations not governments in the standard definition) and I know the line you have to cross is scary and is an ego death but I hope that you cross that line to embody your true potential on the other side to help the world even more than you are:)
One of the best episodes yet. I'm one of the few that faithfully watch the RIOT podcast and I liked the episode with Pierre and Morgan.

It's valuable insight to get the zoom out on Bitcoin's evolution so far.... or rather, the evolution of our understanding of the tool that is Bitcoin.
Can't get enough of your content!🔥
Pierre is the most fundamental thinker/speaker in Bitcoin, true G reps his set and holds it down for his hood
Nearly missed this one thanks for the great content 💯⚡️🧡

Love this learn to use or understand the money so it can change the world.

Good week for bitcoin

Great talk!
Morgen: "the first time we went out he talked about bitcoin"
Danny: "and he actually got a second date?"
😂❤ pierre is a total baller
Found myself fast forwarding through his comments and just wanting to listen to her
"Yes, bitcoin was discussed on our first date." Danny legendary comment .... "and you got a second date after that ?? :-) "
The amount of times I’ve talked about bitcoin on a first date… it’s a wonder I’m still single
Could you have a podcast with more info about holding bitcoin, but outside of an exchange

Love Pierre sm ❤️💪
Very good.
Pierre 👍
Big Brain stuff in here
Would love to have bitcoin core support hw wallets and multisig directly in the gui, but for now Specter will have to do.

Epic couple
Imagine being married to someone that is as much of a bitcoiner as yourself. Lucky. Both of them.
So according to this I am led to believe : Cash under my mattress == STUPID , Gold under my mattress == Stupid , but Bitcoin under my mattress == 😎
A thief can lift up your mattress and walk away.
Try stealing 12 seed words from someone's memory.
Yup
Cash can rot, gold can be confiscated.
Bitcoin is easy to store, easy to transport, can be bought, possessed and sold from your phone.
Check your belief again.

Are you wearing an Arkansas razorbacks hat?
Power couple!

33:45 Boomer mentality - It is futile to stop bitcoin
I’m irresponsibly long Pogs 😂
Bitcoin will never be a threat to the dollar
Bit Pierre ))
First real comment

The average US senator makes 400k per year and has a net worth of $60M. You think they are not threatened by Bitcoin? Makes FTX look legit.
Pierre is a big fan of Jamie Dimon?? What? Was he pulling our leg?
Lady lost all credibility when she called Warren "smart"

he’s a little naive here. morgan gets it, though.
