  • Lara has had LOTS of health issues throughout the years.
However, it's important to note that she has indeed never victimized herself and has never stopped working because of it. As of matter of fact, for the most part, she only mentioned her disease(s) years after having recovered.
This is precisely the reason why we should never assume anything about celebrities because we NEVER know what goes on behind the scenes.
It's also the reason why everyone should show her some clemency and give her a (fcking) break when talking about (judging) her voice and way of performing at any given time in her career :)
Anyways, she is, in my opinion, a force to be reckoned with and an inspiration.

I didn’t know she had also to face this type of disease. Waow she is a survivor. No wonder she reached such a level of wisdom.

This is a very interesting interview, thank you Gaby. Sometimes i have the feeling that it is always the good people who have to go through such difficult times. Fortunately Lara is such a fighter.

I really love the interviews that you are posting Gaby because it helps me to understand Lara a bit more. I said once before that she is a deeply caring and wise soul but I've often wondered why she is this way. Now that I can understand some of her interviews it's starting to make more sense to me. Thank you so much for the translation! 😘

Gaby, thank you so much for the translation on this epic interview. I understand how much time this must have taken, and just wanted you to know how nuch I appreciate you for doing it.
Each time I listen to Lara being interviewed, I gain even more respect and admiration for her.
Bringing Lara's words to me is incredible and humbles me for not persevering with my French studies. I am only able to pick out the odd word here and there and appologise for my ignorance.

Such a great interview. Thanks Gaby. I never understood when someone judges people. I hate when they say "She/he has everything and still does this or that". You never know someone elses life so shut you mouth. Laras attitude and support from loved ones got her through all of these hardships. As someone who has a very sick sister, if you are healthy count your blessings and be thankful.

@Dianna Unldr You took the words right out of my thinking, my heart. Thank you ! If it makes sense to you (?), such interviews show me that beyond Lara's great artistry. She is so much more, a wonderful human. Perhaps one leads to the other. She's inspirational, funny, humble, strong and thankful at same time. Hope many more people would listen to her words (and honest meanings) as much as to her songs. Thanks Gaby for all you do and big thanks also to all kind people and their wonderful comments here ! What great wisdom she shares here! This is so important as we learn more about how to maintain health. So many years later, this is still something so many people have not discovered here in the US. As a professional "healer" in the areas of medicine and psychiatry, I really appreciate the truth she shares here. I have left those professions in the US because they are no longer about healing from an holistic perspective, as I was originally trained, and as her strategies certainly are! Thank you so much for putting this video up. I wish thousands of people could see it. It may at least plant a seed as people see and hear her talk about health in this way.

@@laratheringfabian I am so glad you did! I have spent some time in Quebec but don't understand it well. People need to hear her (and your...and my) ideas on alternative health. Most won't listen but we can plant a seed. And it helps so much to hear others put into words what we sense. Keep up the good work with helping people to find Lara and her music and message.

Lara mentions "Adenomas" in the interview (in the translation).
Adenomas are noncancerous tumors. They may grow along your adrenal, parathyroid or pituitary glands. If your adenoma is small, your healthcare provider may use a wait-and-see approach. In more severe cases, you may need surgery to remove the adenoma.
I'm no doctor but I know what "Adenomas" are, at least the tubular or colon "polyps", which are fairly common. As a general rule, the larger the polyps, the more likely it is to eventually become a cancer. As a result, large polyps (larger than 5 millimeters, approximately 3/8 inch) are usually removed completely during a basic colonoscopy which is recommended to prevent cancer and for microscopic examination to guide follow-up testing. Even though fewer than 9% of tubular adenomas become cancer, learning you have them might be like getting a very early warning you have a higher risk of developing colorectal cancer. That early warning could help you reduce your risk.
Most people should get their first colonoscopy at age 45. Current guidelines suggest that you should get your first colonoscopy at age 45 if you are at average risk for colorectal cancer. If no polyps are found during your initial colonoscopy, then you wouldn’t need your next colonoscopy for another 10 years.
    www.mdanderson.org/cancerwise/colorectal-cancer-screening--at-what-age-should-i-get-a-colonoscopy.h00-159619434.html#:~:text=Current%20guidelines%20suggest%20that%20you,colonoscopy%20for%20another%2010%20years.
This is not something you tyipcally discuss on a talk show or interview. Very odd questions indeed. Very brave of her to bring awareness to this common situation. It is quite understandable how these life issues can derail your plans and disrupt your schedule. Glad things turned out ok for The RING.

You are an awesome woman and artist💞.
