Sokka has a SECRET Daughter with Toph?!
Sokka has a secret love child that appears in the legend of Korra.. You see for the longest time Sokka’s life after the war has remained an incredible mystery, we really know next to nothing about him, and his life.. Like speculations have been made but nothing is certain.. Like many believe that some time after the war Sokka got dumped by Suki, but found comfort in the arms of Toph.. And as we know from the legend of Korra, Toph went on to have not one but two children, Lin and Suyin, Lin's father is revealed within Korra but her half sister Suyin’s father is never revealed.. So given that Sokka and Toph were very close with one another during their youth, and Toph of course had a minor crush on him at one point in the story, many take that to mean Sokka must have been the one to impregnate Toph with her second daughter.. But for this to be the case that would mean one of two things, either toph never told Sokka about his child or Sokka himself rejected her, both outcomes if true would result in one of the two characters being forever ruined.. But at the same time it would mean that the weird side of the fanbase was right to claim that

I like to think that he just lives with suki in her village. Which would make it hard to communicate as he is far away.

Fans have been saying this for years and at first I didn’t really believe but now I do. Plus I don’t think Sokkas the type to cheat on Suki….at least not now when he’s an adult.

Idk, Suki was devoted to the Kyoshi Warriors, I can't see her playing second fiddle to Sokka in the Southern Water Tribe. I think their respective ambitions eventually led them to break up for practical reasons, rather than losing feelings for each other.

In this case it would ruin the characters because it's so out of character for them to behave that way. Sokka would never abandon someone he was responsible for or loved, he's driven to protect those people, it's who he is. It's okay, good even, for characters to make mistakes but they have to be in character for it to make sense.

I’m pretty sure he was the Southern Water Tribes ambassador or something like that. But timeline being as I think it was,😅, it’s possible he just died before Suyin was born. If she really is Sokka’s daughter. (which would honestly explain why Opal is into Bolin, the cheesy jokester.)

There was a comic made. It showed how Sokka was killed when he went to the North Pole and found out about the plan of the Dark Avatar. His heart was frozen and Katara found his body lying down some time later. She tried to heal him but she could tell he was already gone. It's a really sad story... Definitely Recommend Watching It Though 😊

I mean, we know that Sokka died some time before LOK. What if Toph was planning on telling him, but didn't get a chance to before he died?
How would Toff not telling Soka ruin her character exactly?
Especially if we include some additional context in the case that they figured out they weren't compatible, and then Soka ends up back with Suki following which Toff finds out she's pregnant.
I highly doubt either option, however, I can see Toph not telling him vs him rejecting. Still, I don't see either character even being put in this situation. Yes there are questions, but neither of these are valid questions. 🤷♀️

Or toph just doesn’t know/want to remember her second daughter’s father. Imo toph having kids ruined her character. She doesn’t seem like the type to settle down and raise kids- and in fact- she doesn’t. She has them and then borderline abandoned them to do police work. I think this really ruins toph for me. It’s one of my biggest reasons for hating LOK. They legitimately destroyed the reputation of the entire team avatar.

I don’t think people realize even if sue was sokkas child they would’ve at least given her blue eyes or one of her kids but no. If you want to throw in a character, throw in Haru. I mean he was the same age as katara which meant like Aang he was a year older than Toph. Not only is that he has tan skin but he actually has green eyes. I’m surprised this theory isn’t about him and Toph to be honest because they already confirmed sokka and Suki moved to the suburbs to republic city.
How about we just consider that sokka couldve found comfort in one of the maybe 1 billion other women (or men) in the world that aren't suki, toph, aang, zuko, etc, etc.

I don’t know why this video was even made. Sokka and Suki moved to the suburbs somewhere in republic city which has been a thing for a while now. After Sokka went to the south protecting kora, it was probably Suki holding him on his dying breath and after that we assume that she moved back to Kyoshi island which means she’s still probably alive during kora. Sue was probably an accident, maybe Toph and Sokka got drunk one night and Sokka got Toph pregnant but both didn’t realize what they did so they decided to not tell anyone especially Suki since it would’ve been a mistake of what they did.
