@paddymoep I don't know why you're not getting this. Changing the tuning constantly affects the tension of your strings. This can lead to the neck bowing, screw up your intonation or damaging the springs in a floating tremolo. In this video he's using a guitar with a floating tremolo. So I'm sure he'd rather play in a dropped tuning than risk jacking anything on his guitar up. But since you use "normal strings" and "normal guitars", I'm assuming you don't know what you're talking about.
@paddymoep You realize that changing the tuning on a guitar with a floating tremolo is not a very good idea right? Especially tuning that low, that can really jack up the springs in the back if you don't know what you're doing. So you should probably get off this guy's back for not being in C#.
@KingRavenous I was trying too hard to play the song as best as I could. This is probably my 8th try after a mess up here and there, by that point I'm not in the mood to do a little dance and express myself.
Probably C# Standard. It looks like they're moving their fretting hands down to play the lowest chord in live videos. I just played it in drop C# so I didn't have to fuck up my guitar by retuning all the strings.
@paddymoep By having their guitars specifically set up to be in that tuning. I don't know why you're still going on about this. Really, it's not rocket science.
I could upload some Bolt Thrower covers , in standart tuning. Either way , is it too difficult to play Bolt Thrower the right way? Then , why didn't you play in standart?
My God. How could you play Bolt Thrower so "cold"? Actually your have amazing skills but there's no spirit in it. Just play the song cold and technical perfekt, miss the life and spirit!
Espectacular cover de una de mis bandas favoritas! Bolt Thrower rocks!!
Minimal death perfection. Smooth execution and I love the fade out. Let's see one of your own songs next...

AWESOMMMMEEEE!!!
They're what you call harsh vocals. They give the extreme music power and emotion. It takes some getting used to if you've never heard it before.
I wonder how Bolt Thrower get this done!
Nice cover and nice ibanez.

Does Bolt Thrower actually use this drop tuning or do they tune to C# standard?

Got a tab? The riffs on this album can be quite confusing sometimes.
