You make this cutting look easy, I’m a circle freak, so I’ll try this. Thanks for sharing.

@@lesselavie7675 yes always trying to add more for the home artist! No specialty in particular. I host classes at my studio now usually, but also make my own work. I’m just trying to bring the most valuable info to artists fusing glass at home now

Would love to see a demo using something like a beetle bit cutter or even freehand on cutting shapes like triangles or diamonds.

I'm not familiar with a beetle bit cutter but I'll look it up. Freehand I can do too! Stay Tuned...

Thank you, this was great ! Very helpful for a beginner to learn how to do things the right way. Have you done a tutorial on kiln selections ? I'm trying to decide on a multipurpose kiln for both glass & metal clay......I think I've narrowed it down to liking those clamshell style kilns. 😊. Thanks again.

I haven’t yet! But I definitely will post something next week for you. The biggest difference between glass and pottery kilns is where the elements are. Glass kilns need elements in the top while pottery kilns don’t. Glass kilns are also shallower. The clamshell is nice for loading projects. Hope this helps!

    Do you oil the cutter?

The circle cutter I do not oil. I can usually cut about 100 circles per blade and the glass star circle cutter has 6 blades you can rotate through.
