I really appreciate your opinion and transparency about fish in the hobby. This was the reason I got out of the hobby several years ago, I began to question the ethics of taking fish from the wild to often times die in captivity. Only recently did I get back into the hobby but mainly to keep corals which are much easier to aquaculture and propagate in captivity. I really love seeing the major advancements being made in captive breeding fish.
I love your honesty about the industry and its why I pretty much only order from your store. I just wish I had a better success rate with livestock in my tank :(
I was the assistant manager for a big als aquarium services in Ottawa. We dripped every saltwater shipment of corals and fish. Our mortality rate was extremely low. Sometimes even zero loss. This was like 25 years ago though.
Loved my Bangaii's ,the pair I had were like rabbits breeding thats why I have no problem putting them in my tank. As for the rare fish agree things need to change..
You should consider stealing coral euphorias frag mounting system for the acro display “lagoon”. It would work great for displaying/easily removing acros once sold and that flat shelf rock is easy to drill with a masonry bit.
For the gravel in T1 check out Seachem Gray Coast. It looks almost black under reef lighting which really makes corals pop. It's a natural calcite material and isn't prone to sticking to magnets and scratching glass like Hawaiian black sand. I never clean it and it stays looking nice! Super underrated substrate IMO. It does need to be rinsed really thoroughly when you get it though
What kind of sea hare was that at @13:04 ? I could really use one of those that size in my nano reef 😭 I have a couple spots of hair algae that I can't completely get to.
Maybe try calcium reactor media for the substrate for the sps tank. I think WWC uses Reborn in their displays. You can have really high flow and not collect as much detritus as course sand or crushed coral.
Can you make a video of fully setting up a reef casa aquarium like setting it up cycling it adding coral and do like a week to week vlog of how the tank is going!
Hey March or Tia, I have a PAR question. How fast can I raise par? I’ve been going 15 par per week. I just tested it and found I’m averaging around 70.
If you want more clownfish hit me up, always have lots of storms and more varieties in the near future. Always disease free and healthy, you've had a few in the past..
Yes Alaska has its challenges. It is very hard to get good quality fish and corals and when we do it is very expensive. I wish we could buy corals for you. Every time i watch one of your unboxing videos I get jealous love the vid can’t wait to see the new tank setup.
I do not want to see them badly enough, for somebody to lay it in her hand for the camera. I have no appreciation for that move. Deducting point from Tia.
Do you run carbon constantly? If so, Blonde Naso tangs do not do well with that. I had to research it but that solved the problem when kept loosing them.
Wow, I'm surprised you mentioned and recommended Mrs Olivia Coker Rein. Well I don't have much to say about her but I'll advice newbie to place their trade under her services.

I want some of that gorgeous pink sponge you have in your peninsula display
Would love to see the whole process on the tank. From break down to new set up! That sounds like an amazing idea. Cant wait to see the finish product!

I have not had luck with Springer's and flat worms. Interested in how that goes for you.

It’s ok. The fish will be fine.
This store never seems to have any livestock and the ones they have are overpriced
