The Origin of The Universe With Neil deGrasse Tyson

  • The origin of the universe is certainly among the most intriguing topics in all of science. Neil deGrasse Tyson explains how the universe came to be. He explains the big bang theory and the subsequent evolution of the universe.
    Neil deGrasse Tyson not only explains the origin of the Universe, he also gives an inspiring speech about the origin of life on Earth and our place in the cosmos.
    The universe has inspired scientific discoveries in a broad array of disciplines including astronomy, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. The Big Bang itself forms the basis of the current Standard Model of cosmology, which describes the evolution of the universe from the earliest known states through the appearance of structural fragments.
    The latest data shows that the expansion of the universe is accelerating. This means that the galaxies are moving further apart from each other which indicates that space is stretching. It has been suggested to explain this by the gravitational potential of dark energy. This theory suggests that dark energy has a positive pressure which pushes the universe apart.
    Dark energy is the most accepted explanation for the observations of an accelerating universe. And it remains an active field of research in cosmology.
    Neil deGrasse Tyson also briefly mentions the Multiverse hypothesis and how it fits with the big bang model.
    Information from modern experiments, such as the Planck satellite and WMAP short for Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe, and from astronomical observations in the 21st century, has allowed cosmologists to increase the precision of their predictions about the universe's age early in the universe's history.
    It is fascinating to think how much of the nature of the universe science has revealed to us. But we're still only scratching the surface of a cosmic iceberg. Most of the universe, and the multiverse, if it exists, still remains in the realm of the unknown. But scientists are determined in the quest to expand the frontier of knowledge and push the boundaries of ignorance, and shed a light to an ever growing and expanding universe.

      The definition of 'multiverse' includes random quantum fluctuation bubble universes, parallel universes, parallel worlds, and universes with different physical laws than ours - almost all not being able to support life. This hypothesis is WRONG!

      ‘The BIG Bang-Bit Bang’ inflation/expansion of energy₇₄ and information into the void 13.8 billion years ago was a supermassive white hole spawned by a supermassive black hole at the heart of a galaxy in our ‘parent₇₄ universe’. This duality combines general relativity’s singularities of infinite density breaking through spacetime in ‘Cosmic Egg hatchings’ of all created universes within ‘The Conglomerate’: multiverse with no random quantum fluctuation bubble universes, no parallel worlds, and all universes have similar physical laws. Over thirty years ago I came to hear that an atheist mathematician had announced a theory of natural repetition that went something like this: When everything that can happen, i.e. every single permutation of every movement in all matter (matter being something as opposed to nothing) has happened, the only logical thing to happen next would be for everything to start repeating itself, and ultimately, to continually keep repeating itself over and over again ad infinitum. This then would include the natural process that started our universe and the following naturally formed evolutionary cycle that produced the intelligent life within it. Even this intelligent life on earth that we now perceive as our own would, sometime in the far distant future, be repeated, and not just once, but over and over again. So the theory goes.
    What is more, so I was told: Even though the time span between the cycle that produced us now and the repeated cycle that would eventually produce us again in that far distant future might look like bordering on the infinite, it would still only seem like an instant between our loss of consciousness at death, and our regained consciousness through the rebirth of our naturally repeated evolved lives in the future. This is because only the time registered in our consciousness would be recorded and therefore known… so the theory goes.
    Now the point I am coming to is this: When we apply this theory of natural repetition to our universe, (which is largely believed by many scientists to be a rapidly expanding ‘bubble’ billions of light years across and which started from an incredibly small point some 10-20 billion years ago) then we can also very easily arrive at a completely different and infinitely more interesting conclusion that goes way beyond the original idea of a naturally repeating eternity of endless births, deaths and rebirths, but first we must consider the following…
    If our universe, as some would have us believe, could be the first one or one of a finite number capable of starting and supporting evolved intelligent life, then it would mean that as time has advanced so the variation in the movement of matter would have increased. In which case then, if we were to trace time back we would have to witness a decrease in that variation. Eventually if we were to trace time back far enough we would have to come to a point of absolute zero movement in all matter, and that would result in a physical impossibility for any movement to begin. The only logical way out of this would be that our universe cannot be the first one or one of a finite number but instead must be one in an infinite number (from an atheistic point of view). Some atheist scientists though have also argued that our universe could have started from nothing by way of a “quantum fluctuation”, but even if this was true it would still logically follow that if nothing was responsible for starting this rapidly expanding ‘bubble’ we call our universe, then wherever there was nothing there would be countless universes about to be formed, being formed and already formed. In other words, it would have been impossible for nothing to have existed without already producing a mass of countless expanding (and possibly contracting) ‘bubbles’, similar to the one we presently call our universe. In which case, we would still be in the realms of “natural repetition”. (from an atheistic point of view)
    This in turn then would mean that evolved intelligent life in one form or another would not only have already strived an infinite number of times to understand, create and control whatever it so willed but would already have had an infinite period of time in which to do it in. Whatever kind or form of evolutionary cycle that would have produced this almighty free thinking God of reason then could also be seen to be the origins of God and therefore also a part of God. So even from an atheistic point of view I was able to see what could be described as a reasonable concept of an eternal infinite all knowing all powerful God who came into existence but with no conceivable beginning to the finite mind of man… if you see what I mean.

    From what I understand of Black Holes is that matter is drawn towards their center but we don't fully understand what happens to the matter that is drawn into the black hole, I have heard Tyson explain somewhat a theory about how the matter is compacted to to such extreme levels that it bends space-time which is why light bends around the black hole, and possibly even into the hole... but we have no evidence, I know when I was younger it was said that Black Holes could quite literally be holes in the universe, which I find interesting... If that were the case where does that hole go? one could say it goes into nothingness, but so does the edge of the universe as it expands... couldn't it be that what caused the "big bang" of our universe was actually a volatile dying mass from another universe and that everything we know in our universe, all the elements we have found are actually from that separate universe... which would also mean that every black hole in our universe created another universe and the matter flowing to those black holes is actually feeding a new universe? I think on that often, and I realize that there is likely science that disproves that idea, or something else that would otherwise provide it with more than enough evidence contrary to the idea. I still like the idea though since it supports a multiverse theory while explaining where the matter goes and what happens to the matter, while also, at least partially, explaining what caused the Big Bang that started our universe.

    The origin of the universe is a subject that continues to intrigue scientists and laypeople alike. The Big Bang theory posits that the universe began as a singular point, expanding rapidly and forming everything we observe today. An essential piece of evidence supporting this theory is the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation, the afterglow of the Big Bang, which permeates the universe. Recent research suggests that quantum spaces and fluctuations might have played a crucial role in the early moments of the universe, influencing its structure and evolution. How might advancements in our understanding of quantum spaces further illuminate the processes that gave rise to the universe and its initial conditions?

    When you say the "Universe" was created did you even mean the space time ? If yes, so into what exactly did it bang through ?
    What existed before the BB? if you say it was "nothingness" then explain what is nothingness and where is it even located?
    Its extremely confusing.

    Negative Energy Generator
    By James AraSmith
    “In the late 1800s, Max Planck studied the effects of radiation (electromagnetic waves). In the following years, Albert Einstein extended the work to “quantize” radiation, eventually becoming the quantum energy equation for light and for all frequencies in the electromagnetic spectrum (e.g. radio waves, microwaves, x-rays, etc).”(energywavetheory.com)
    Because an electron is a wave, thus having a frequency, Planck’s relation, E=vh, applies. Because said electron has mass, E= MC^2 applies. Because both are equations representing the energy of the electron, E=E or vh=MC^2
    E=MC^2
    E= vh (only variables are E and v)
    h= plank’s constant
    V= frequency
    E/C^2=M
    (vh)/C^2=M (only variables are E and v)
    (-vh)/C^2=-M
    -E=-vh
    Scientists say that negative energy and negative mass MUST exist. If negative energy MUST exist, negative frequency MUST exist.
    IF I understand my references, negative frequency is 1/-t. T= time. A generated wave contains both a positive and negative frequency. A causal filter will block the positive frequency but will not block the negative frequency.
    -T is greater than or equal to C
    T is less than or equal to C
    The electron and the negative electron
    The mass of an electron is 9.1*10^-31
    9.1*10^-31= (vh)/C^2
    Solve for v.
    V= 1.23432*10^20 Hz or 123.432 EHz
    Because an electron has mass, it moves slower than C.
    Now change v to a negative and rework the equation.
    (-1.23432*h)/C^2 = -(9.1*10^-31)
    Because the negative electron has negative mass and negative frequency, it moves faster than C.
    The Higgs field
    The Higgs field is responsible for giving an electron its mass. It is done through a weak hyper charge.
    It is unclear to me if the frequency itself gives the electron its hyper charge.
    The generator
    X-ray, electromagnetic radiation of extremely short wavelength and high frequency, with wavelengths ranging from about 10−8 to 10−12 metre and corresponding frequencies from about 10^16 to 10^20 hertz (Hz).
    If I understand things correctly, a causal filter could block out the positive x-ray frequency, leaving only the negative.
    If the 123.432EHz target frequency does produce a weak hyper charge on its own, then it reacts with the Higgs field instantly. Therefore, the wave would not be traveling at C and would not produce a negative frequency. Because of this, the frequency would need to be oscillated in and out of the target frequency. Each time the wave oscillated into the frequency, the wave would split into an electron traveling slower than C (which would then be filtered out), and a negative electron traveling faster than C.
    If the 123.432EHz target frequency doesn’t produce a weak hyper charge on its own, then a weak hyper charge would need to be added to and subtracted from the frequency to get the same effect. It is not clear to me how this would be done.

    Think about it.
    What are the chances of this happening? What are the chances of this universe being magically being created over a period of time following all the laws. What are the chances that planets are created with the right mass and they orbit around the sun?
    Alright, what is the probability of Life of earth? Look at your Body, how complex it is how wonderful it is. And you are suggesting that this also came magically evolving from a big bang?
    I am a programmer, i create a program and it follows the rules that I tell it to follow. Period. Now, i can create a program to develop insight based on the data to make its own decision and adapt. But if you are going to tell me that a program gets created magically out of noting.. that is hard to believe.

    Imagine the Big Bang was just a white hole.
    It makes sense theoretically. It explains the singularity, large amount of mass in a single point being ejected outwards as elementary particles , and not being able to return or enter its starting point. Which is the opposite of going into a Black hole.
    The only thing this doesn't cover is the cosmic inflation, but I reckon that is tied in with dark energy.
    PS- I'm no physicist, but I believe my theory is legit. 😎

    So i want to request to all work on Time machine in place of searching end of universe.

    Question to Prof. Tyson:
    Keck observatory can show objects as distant as 10 billion light years away. This implies that, the light emitted from the object viewed from this observatory today has left the object 10 billion years ago.
    Does this mean that if we can build an observatory that can see 13.59999 billion light years away, then we might actually be able to capture the moment when the Big Bang happened??
    Thanks

    Einstein’s system of equations provides some insight.
    The confusion appears to be with the definition of the word origin. This video defines origin as the start of something big. Einstein’s equations define origin not as the start, but as the starting point for something. Dimension 0. Can we agree on Einstein’s definition of origin?

    I have a question, and I am at dumbass with multiple sclerosis so I could be 100% wrong. But how can you theorize that space is affected by a physical Force when there is no physicality in space, the theory of the magnetic Universe makes way more sense and logic to me, someone please correct me and show me and explain to me how I am wrong because I think I'm right. There seems to all the information I have received through my life, is that there's no pull, only attraction and repulsion which would explain to me logically why comments that entered the atmosphere of planet Earth are always inflamed or burning up because they seem to indicate that they are being subjected and imposed a force so strong that it Flames their totality of mass and it would also explain why the Moon and the other planets in the Solar System are also in the same relative position. I really want to know how I am incorrect, thank you whoever responds.
