I loved editing this vlog because I get to relive the experience with you guys~! I miss being there in person, but honestly I don't mind watching on TV in my pj's! My lips were barely working on some days when it was extremely cold and I looked like a mess at the end of some days. Also I was getting so sleep deprived it started hurting 😂😂😂I hope you enjoy taking a peek at the Olympic parks and venues, I didn't add in too much actual game footage because I assume you guys are watching it on TV and would have way better professional footage to see. Stay tuned for parts 2 & 3 which will be up shortly!
TokiYuYu Thank you for sharing this with us, it’s a really good video of what it’s really like to be a spectator at The Olympics!
Thanks for sharing! I really like the shots you chose and it did feel like I got to go to the Olympics. Plus, that has got to be the biggest vending machine I've ever seen, lol. Stay warm and have fun!!
Pretty awesome!!! Thanks for sharing! I have to say it does look like fun but very exhausting! Kinda reminds me of going to 3-4 day music festivals. Can't wait to see more!
I slept 12h straight after getting home to recover lol exhausting for sure!
Woooow thank you so much for making this winter olympics series! I feel like it's better to watch from a vlog because it's personal, it feels as if I went there and watched it myself 😊😍🎉 more power to you tokiyuyu💪🏻💕
Awesome Winter Olympic vlog, thanks you for your kind sharing. Although the weather is so cold, but you still try your very best to record the video and share all the details about the winter olympic. Thumbs Up! Keep up the good work and cannot wait for vlog Part 2! :)
Can't wait for parts 2 & 3! First time seeing your brows (you used your beanie to push your bangs away) and they on fleek!!
Haha you are too nice! I usually just don't even bother with my brows cuz I have bangs :P
I want to THANK You for Sharing this neat experience.
SAFE TRAVELS💖
GOD'S PROTECTION😇👼
Wow, it's nice to see a different side of the Olympics, which would never be shown on TV here in the US. Like seeing some of those Olympic sculptures, and simply walking around the area, which looks interesting enough to take a look around. Also, I can assume one of the hardest parts is picking and choosing which events to go to, and sticking with them, as there just seem to be so much to choose from. I have a hard enough time deciding which ones to watch on TV or internet. ;)
I was also surprised by how different the atmosphere is when attending in person - it's so much more fun and lively with great music, live bands and cheerleaders! Not to mention Soohorang coming out and dancing/skating around!
Thank you for sharing this! Really nice to get an on-the-ground view of the park and the events. As always, your video are super informative.
I was there too and watching your vlogs helped me relive the fun times in Pyeongchang (mostly Gangneung). I can't believe you did the daily commute from Seoul! And food at the venues was deplorable... Nothing but fast food, how can they expect us to live on junk food for 2 weeks. Great vlog!
The commute wouldn't be too bad if we scheduled only 1 event per day but most days we had 2, so we finished too late. Yeah I was so disappointed about the food, I thought Korea would have the best food of all Olympics cuz I love Korean food!!
Super dope video!! I really like the way you edited this! We love to travel and this just makes us want to travel more.I cant believe you actually go to go to the Olympics, hope you enjoyed!!!! awesome video!
It was such a special experience!!!
TokiYuYu well I hope you had fun and got to see the evens you wanted to see :)
Enjoyed the vlog, looking forward to seeing the others. Thank you for including us.
Thanks for sharing vlogs on your Olympics trip. I love watching the Olympics so it's really interesting to see how it is like outside of the events broadcasted on TV. The white tiger cape with hat/beanie is soooo cute!!!
I hope you can do a video on how you planned your trip. Such as how you bought the event tickets and House tickets, were you able to select the events you want to watch, tips etc. I want to go for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 so information from your experience would come in handy.
Subscribed to your channel because your videos looks interesting and fun! :D
That cape was so useful too! We were freezing lol
I'll think about making a video like the one you suggested, not too sure how winter olympics compare to summer but doesn't hurt to share my experience!
thanks for take time out to video it for us extremely cold and very tire I bet it's so cold here in canada too
I'm used to Canadian cold weather but being outside for many hours in -15C was still pretty painful
I just started following your vlog page (for my upcoming trip to Japan). I really enjoyed looking at your experience at Pyeongchang 2018! Being able to attend some Olympic events is definitely a once in a lifetime! I went to Vancouver 2010 😊 and it still feels like not so long ago! The memories will stay with you forever.
You're totally right! The experience was amazing!
It's so cool you went to visit the Olympics. I hoped you liked the food you ate in the Holland Heineken house! It was nice to see you try something from my home country.
The food was great!! The combo of bitterballs and Heineken beer was awesome!!!
Great video and experience! GO CANADA GO! Thanks for sharing this and look forward to more!
I love watching your vlogs YuYu!! Thanks for all the tips on where to go and what to eat in Tokyo. Nabezo was so awesome I went 3 times in December!
Hello from Southern California
Now you just reminded me to go back to Nabezo!! :D
Hi there! I really enjoyed this Vlog! I am planning to go to Paris 2024 one and I was wondering how did you get the tickets and how much they were?
omg i was at the gangneung ice arena as well!!! ugh it would have been great to see you i feel like i missed out ;-; hope you had fun>
Awww would be lovely to meet you! Who knows, maybe there would be another random chance in the future!!
it would be fun if you made a haul video showcasing all the souvenirs you brought back from the Olympics!
I will! When I film the souvenir-to-buy video I'll include it at the end!
Thats so cool that you were there! I'm looking to compete in the olympics myself. Great vlog!
A Olympic vlog! Very interesting :D
your pink coat and scarf are soo cute! looks great on you!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience! Which country do u cheer for?
Canada, US, China and Korea!
Great Vlog! Been following the games a little bit on tv.
The background music is really good, I like it
Your videos are very good! I havn't seen anyone else reporting like you have. Have you been to a Grand Sumo tournament?
Haven't had a chance, would be cool to go to one though!
Thanks for sharing this experience
Winter Olympics very interesting!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Looks really fun, did it get too cold at times or were you able to enjoy yourself despite the weather?
2 of the days (the last 2 days of this vlog) were pretty painful, but the rest of the time wasn't as bad. All the indoor events were perfectly fine, just the outdoor ones were a bit miserable but we still had lots of fun regardless!
TokiYuYu I can’t even imagine standing there with below freezing temperatures 😬❄️ Also, I was wondering if you had to know fluent Japanese to travel in Tokyo or Kyōto? Are most of the tourist spots easy to navigate without speaking Japanese?
I've never had a problem using only English :) Of course sometimes you may not be able to communicate smoothly and have a whole conversation but you shouldn't have too much problem getting what you need
TokiYuYu Thank you!
This is so cool.
GO korea🇰🇷🇰🇵!
Wow Malade ! J'aurais vraiment aimé ca être là bas ! :)
Woooooo😄😄😄😄😄thanks,thanks,thanks,,,,,🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪💪💪💪💪👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Really nice filming!
Hi beautiful. Excellent .thanks for sharing.😘😄🇯🇵
you look so cute and beautiful please do more of skin care video thanks
🐕Happy New Year, 🥀🦇😍🖒
Lol it's nothing we have in Finland now - 20 degrees and could be 30 minus
I'm usually used to cold weather since I'm from Quebec where it can be -30C easily, but being out in the cold for hours without any shelter in -15 with strong wind is still quite brutal. Glad to be sitting at home in my pj's for sure 😂
Beautiful ❤️
I think I shaved a whole year off my life from the anxiety of waiting to see if Yuzuru was going to get another gold medal.
😆😆😆
🤜🤛👍👍👍
you mentioned we. who are we?
My husband and I :)
You should watch Team CANADA Hockey Team in action! There stronger team!
