2023 Lexus NX 350 Oil Change & Reset

  • In this video i am demonstrating an easy oil change on a 23 nx 350.
    I am aware first two services on a new lexus or toyota are free.
    Tools needed:
    3/8 ratchet, oil filter wrench, 10 and 14mm sockets, catch pan, means to lift vehicle.

      i bought the oil filter wrench from the snapon truck when i worked for toyota.

    That engine requires premium gasoline, right?

      yes so 91 is recommended here in the states, i actually dont think ive ever seen a modern turbo charged car that didn't recommend 91.

      @@RatedRTV 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander runs on 87.

      so you sent me down a rabbit hole, thanks. so because toyota is so focused on efficiency they have 99% of the time recommended 87 US gas. few exception were the old supras, bmw supra, and one you mentioned. . . . The interesting part is that despite the grand highlander and nx350 i believe using the same motor the toyota would be tuned down so that it can use 87. i know some old celicas were turbo but it pretty rare to find a toyota with stock turbo, lots of turbo diesels in other contries.       @@RatedRTV Interesting thing is Mazda that uses inline turbo 6 that can use both 87 and 91 without any problems. That’s the best option in my opinion.
