Cristian Alan Carranza Alcantar They don't? I listened to them way back in 2011, they were part of my late teenage years. Do you know if their members have any side projects?
@@Syngrafer yeah a few have split into different bands, but its a crying shame. This sort of avant garde metal is the closest to modern classical music around.
Agreed!! I'm actually more of a progressive/jazz/fuzion kind inclined person, however I have to give credit for the great masterplay in this song! "Dubstep of melodic metal" witch you use is a genious kind of way of putting their sound!! When I first hear this song (about 10 years ago) I was blown by the masterplay, and of course the contrast between vocals! I've got to respect a band that chose the hard and heavy, for oppition, because they could ( and do) extremelly complex yest melodic passages! Just like you said!!
One of those pieces of music that’s just too complex to play on anything other than high quality speakers or headphones to truly appreciate all the audio separation.
As far as I can remember, in the actual album booklet, they said that two or three members of the band compose a song, and then the rest add their own touch on it.
These guys are fuckin sick!!! I absolutely love the mixture of hardcore and orchestra, especially the violin. Violin and hardcore is such a bad ass combination.
Lyrically, this hits so weird after the previous couple tracks. Pumpkins are way more exciting now though, so I'm obviously very stoked about that. Very Good/10
Heroic icons of the vegetable supremacy
A mistreated garden, their ultimate purgatory
(ALL HAIL OUR PUMPKIN OVERLORDS!)
i think this is how the future sounds, this is so amazing, way ahead of its time in my opinion, i will now go listen to more of this awesomness!!
Sadly they doesn't exist anymore u.u

@@Syngrafer not really. They all disbanded in 2015
Not 100% wrong given post metal has similarities to this kind of orchestration...but with less manic.
I miss the manic :(
1:03 to 1:30 and 2:21 to 3:13 are so god damned awesome - the piano riff is so catchy! This band wrecks so much face, it's unbelievable.
One of the greatest songs I have ever heard. Combines everything i like about the music, yet works beautifully.
This album is just amazing.
I like how it breaks down to some smooth jazz sounding style.
this is like the dubstep of melodic metal.soo unpredictable yet masterfully done.. its AMAZING. Respect for UneXpect

Can't say i have heard anything else like it. very unique, very good.

UneXpect already played a tour together with Opeth and DT :)
Chase Embrey Opeth+Unexpect
Perfect bands right there.
Dream Theater just adds to the perfection.
Best Album 2011 :-)
Thank you for this, Unexpect.

you may like following bands, if you like complex structures: Amogh Symphony, Augury :)
This band is just to insane for words! That's not a bad thing, that's a good thing!
I did not Unexpect I would fall in love with this album :)

Well, the insanity creates some of the best art.

@kaussiekai14 dont ever compare this masterpiece to dubstep
@MrTonythegreat
Yes, yes they have, and it is an absolute masterpiece which I suggest you get a hold of immediately :D
I thought you were joking with the song meaning, but holy shit you're right.
Avant-Great!
Thanks Joseph! \m/
Awesome music! how did you get those songs; have they released their new album yet?
Better than Batman v. Superman
That is a bit too irrelevant for comparison but yeah you're still right
