Actually there is a ruling that no PU manufacture is obligated to provide their PU to another car OEM if they don't want to. Obviously not all journalist know that.
@@Goaltimer I’m curious about this. Isn’t this a direct contradiction of the rule Laurence mentioned? Are you saying there’s a new ruling that supercedes the old one?
@@sondosoft4603 No new ruling. This journalist probably doesn't understand the matter. It is true that there are obligations to supply a PU's to a new potential customer team. However, this obligation doesn't apply if the new customer team shall be an automotive competitor nor any of its affiliated companies shall be an automotive manufacturer. It is written within the technical regulations, Appendix 5
just a thought springing to mind, yes of course the pressure is on Checo Pérez.. and has been so for the past years tbh and it won't be different in the near future to come. Is there any other driver talked about the most either positive or negative the past years apart from the classic Max-Hamilton discussion? I think not! I am actually looking forward to hearing his unabridged take on everything if he ever retires and decides to write his memoires!
He doesn’t care about what people think about him. He said so in the Beyond the Grid podcast. He said everyone who isn’t remotely connected to the intricacies of F1 seems to know everything about the sport while the people on the track know the real and bigger picture. I think all UA-camrs (except maybe LawVS) have the same boring and biased opinion about Checo. I don’t think any other driver is scrutinised this naively on a per race basis. I think he’s a good driver..maybe not a Max but he’s great in his own right. Not everything is about Lewis and Max in F1.
@@artadhyay5462 fully get what you mean and a comfort to know you also think he's a good driver, for I do too. I have also read/heard his comments saying whatever goes on on social media with all the opinions is not what he cares about. And I hope so, because I also know how high profile people whether in sports or music and art, do pick up on what's out there and it takes so much mental strength not to be affected by it. It's almost impossible to completely block it out.
Renault's Geely joint venture will see Alpine F1 switch engines (Mercedes rebranded as one of its Chinese brands - or even Lotus, Proton, Smart, Volvo or Polestar) and Zhou Guanyu behind the wheel.
George better figure out his own driving, before them ask him to lead the team. Canada showed he is still prone to make mistakes. Maybe, is Sainz does sign for Williams, they can do 2025 with a loan swap, so Kimi gets a year at Williams to get up to speed.
Max did not have a driver’s license when he debuted in F1 in 2015 and… he was not allowed to drink alcohol.. so he was forbidden to drink Champagne after a race win.
You were spot on Katie with Verstappen Norris and Hamilton!!!!
👏
37:20 The engine supply rule exempts Audi because they are a first year engine supplier.

Liam and Alex have also previously been team mates in DTM and appear to get on and work well together.
Williams is going for Carlos…if Carlos doesn’t choose them, Bottas will be Next in Line…Williams wants an Experienced Driver

Katie, are you high? you are shinning today
Revisiting this episode to see how right the prediction was.😊

He didn’t Win or Podium in 2015…but he did Win in 2016 aged 18
Yes I know. He did not win because he was not allowed to drink champagne. Joke
But I did not say that he won .
Chatillon has to sound like Chation (sha ti on), like Celine Dion and not like Bob Dylan, try to remember that next time Laurence.
Why do we need to compare motor sport to collage foot ball?
Espn is boring.. no wonder they do not have viewers 😂😂
What a waste of time this is
Katie, what happened? You couldn’t get any bigger eyes? Nice.
