Hey man,top set up.I have no problems with my hands and still i dont have your admirable will.Why dont u adapt a metal bar on top of the guitar neck,running along with the guitar's neck.So you could rest your hand on it. This way you could move your hand freely on the neck.And if you can move your index finger,maybe hit a note or tap it. Also how about to cut that top piece of the body where you connect the strap,so you could reach all the high notes,and just move the strap button to the back of the guitar.Keep it up dude!
You need a way to damp the strings behind the slide. That will kill the overtones. A piece of rubber fuel line hose from a auto parts store slid over a piece of wood, metal, plastic that's attached to your slide will do it.
Thanks for the tip, but there would be little sound because my left hand can't make the controlled movement needed to pluck the strings. Thanks for thinking about it though, appreciate it!
I have a birth defect with my right hand that causes me to hit the wrong strings from time to time, watching your video has given me strength #inspirational
Thanks for your reply Steve ;-) I changed my board a lot since the video. Took 10 years till now and still changing things around to stay inspired. Because I'm not able to play the "regular" way, I use guitar a lot for drones, effects and stuff like that in my music. Still loving it!

That's awesome, dude! Have you considered getting a left handed guitar and stringing it upside down? That would give you access to those higher frets
