Kayak fishing for Redfish in Estero Bay, Florida

Was a great day kayak fishing Estero Bay. After leaving Lovers Key boat launch I was treated to a beautiful sunrise paddle across the bay. The catch of the day was my 8lb 29 3/4" Redfish. Overall it was an amazing day!

Sorry for the long delay in reply. Got this paddle same day w the kayak at Bass Pro. LOVE it. It does the job. I like that it's light and comes apart. The only thing that kinda stinks is here in the FL sun, after it's sitting a while while I am fishing, it gets SOOO hot because it's black. I suppose all black paddles are the same. Fish On!

What set up did you use and bait ?

Pretty sure I was using a live pinfish on a circle hook for that one. Hope this helps, Fish On!

i have a bunch of Florida fishing on my channel. mostly Sanibel, Stuart and Cedar Key but i went to Lover's Key for the first time last fall. I didn't have time to explore much but it looks great down there.
