Rough translation for those who would like:
Today is a black sky, today is a black day, today the king of all has been crucified like a thief and taken away like a criminal. and to Pilate they took him to the garden. Panagia, the young lady, and other women. they walk in single file on the path. they are in the doorway, she looks to the left in the doorway and there is no one recognizable. to the right, she looks and sees St John. "St John, my friend and student of my son. have you seen my son and your teacher?” "I don't have a tongue to tell you or a mouth to speak to you." "come closer so I can show him to you. do you see that unclothed one, the very burdened one? he wears a crown of thorns on his head and holds a scepter.” and the Virgin Mary asks, as she watches, "why don't you speak, why don't you speak my child." "what can I say, my mother, an answer I don't have. only on the holy Saturday in the night. I can tell you what the bells will mean, then my mother you will have a great joy. it means God, it means Earth, it means the heavens. it means our churches and our golden candles.

Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to add this, appreciate it. It's a beautiful story. I hate to impose, but would you have the Greek lyrics as well? I'd love to try and follow them - I can't sing for toffee, but I'd like to try! 💕

Love that you're making the effort to learn and sing! It's not an imposition at all- now I know that I should always include the lyrics and translations in everything I post :) This is the condensed version of the song, so I have to go through and remember what I cut out. In the meantime, here is a link to the lyrics in Greek: www.inagiounikolaoutouneou.gr/apps/gr/spag/3_1303376843.html@@imajeenyus42
