The door is not open
ليس البابُ مفتوحا
Ending with tanween fat'ha and the other sentences for that lesson ends with taween damma

Now I recognized another moment where/when knowledge of another language and relying on the logic/syntax actually COMPLICATES learning the new language.
So..un-learn :)
In Croatian/English/Italian ...there is so called infinitive form of verb, that is: intense and no gender.
Infinitive has NOTHING to do with ANY personal pronoun.
I have to LEARN.
While in Arabic..it is Present Tense of a verb CONJUGATED with انا، انت، نحن....well...personal pronouns..

لابد عن اتعلم. I have to learn
While
لابد عن تتعلم/ين؟ you (Anta/anti)have to learn?
And so on.....?
In my first language ...it is "لابد" verb /trebati/ that changes with pronouns
Ja انا treba-m
But
You انت treba-š.
He هو treba
Mi نحن treba-mo
Honestly. .if my NATIVE tongue didn't have such a messed up conjugation and declension, I would simply run away from Arabic language
But knowing/appreciating/enjoying the nuances of expression) form/meaning in my first language lead me to admiring the beauty of Arabic ..even though i am such a slow learner
