Great video, keeping the length short really helps keep to videos focused and dense with information. No wasted time with these. Keep up the good work!
Yes! This is the build I'm playing atm, and it's so much fun and also pretty good! I feel like the absense of Mesmer in ranked queue actually helps this build perform atleast in g3/p1 because many players don't know what Mesmers can even do. Especially when whipping out the Focus, it's rarely ever seen. I even had to refresh my memory on how to properly use it.
Great stuff as per usual! In future guides, I'd love to hear a little more about each build's weaknesses: not only what to avoid doing (kinda like how you mentioned not doubling up on defensive cooldowns if you don't need to), but also how other builds might pose a problem or what situations to avoid. What situation, for instance, would make this Virtuoso build fall to pieces? Your videos are brilliant and I can't wait to see more of 'em!
Thank you for the kind words Raphael! And I agree! These guides should be helpful to anyone interested in learning how to play the builds. TY for the support! :)
man your videos are a gold mine, i was looking for a pvp guide to get better and your videos are both smooth and teaches me stuff hope you get more followers
Thank you for the kind words Mr. Serperior! I'm glad you enjoy the videos! Harbinger guide is coming out next but I will definitely be doing a guide for daredevil and specter as well. :)
Thanks Gladiator! I've messed around with guardian runes (burn on block) in sPvP, the effect procs often but isn't strong enough to warrant taking. No option for defender runes in the mists but for WvW it seems like it would be a great source of sustain! Toughness and healing power are both stats that Virtuoso can make use of. :)
@@defleshed2 You can take traveler runes if you want movement speed for wvw! Fireworks gives power stat which isn't very useful on a condi build. Can also take Ether Feast if you want more healing
Hey MacTavish! Both are fine. The scepter trait has better survivability and the attack speed affects the cast time on ALL skills you cast while in the scepter weaponset. That means you shatter, heal, stun, etc. 20% faster. Shattering quicker is safer as well as it results in more aegis reapplication. If you run master of fragmentation, I would recommend using berserker amulet and evasion runes. The damage output is higher but you lose some survivability in the process.
Im loving this series! They are way more helpful than any other half an hour guides out there!
I'm glad you enjoy the videos Victor! Thanks for the support! :)

Can't wait to unlock this. I was away for quite some time.

Love this guide
Thanks Luva! I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)
PvP Mesmer is back!
Def sleeper pick in ranked haha, thanks for the support :)
Awesome videos, What do you think of defender runes for WvW? heal 5% hp each time you block and only 1 sec internal cd. Thanks

@@Shadowfall_TV since virtuoso lacks movement speed, would it be best in wvw roaming for something like rune of fireworks (im a condi virtusoso)

@@Shadowfall_TV true, I was thinking since it gives 6x stacks of might it would be 180 condition dmg as well but only 7.5s out of 20s internal cd
The condi version feels like it doesn't do enough damage to down opponents, but also doesn't feel like it will die itself. Am I playing correctly?
This builds looks mega fun. Is this a side, tf or roaming build? If you said this in the vid and I missed it, apologies
Virtuoso is very fun to play! And it is primarily a side noder! 00:19 is where I talk about the role and playstyle :)
I just want to play my 10 pvp matches for Decade of the Dragon and I've got to fight immortal Virtuosos from a DLC i don't even have. Jesus.
Hey Matthew! I hope you enjoyed the video! Unblockable damage is quite good against virtuosos. Thanks for the support :D
Why malicious sorcery instead of master of fragmentatios?

@@Shadowfall_TV Oh damn, I didn't realize the 20% attack speed applied to all skills. Definitely makes sense now.
Equiment? Totally missed the equipment
