@@PrismaticWitness Never heard of her. Help me find her best stuff for me? So ... we both like Katy Perry, right? Keep in mind that I like meaningful songs like Who Am I Living For and Lost the most and I can also like shallow songs but only when they are really catchy.
Matter? I got you! She only has 1 album but it’s excellent in my opinion! If you like meaningful songs I suggest “Traveling Song” (about her grandfather), “New Constellations” (about questioning if there’s more to life), and “Reasons Not To Die”. As for catchy songs I’d suggest Octahate, Pierre, and Promises but the rest of the album is stellar also!! Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think!
@@PrismaticWitness Thanks a lot. Good recommendations! Thought everything was good. Heard a couple of others as well (Heartbreaker and The Fool), the former was quite impressive and the latter was my favorite out of all, definitely see myself wanting to listen to it again.
@@PrismaticWitness Just wanted to come here again and say that I heard some songs again and a few others as well and I'm ABSOLUTELY LOVING her music! The Fool, Heartbreaker, Free, Promises, Runaway, Octahate, Pierre. She, surprisingly, liked my reply on Twitter where I was appreciating a lyric from The Fool. LOL. I wowed at the "wild cards/broken heart" lyric.
This must be the most difficult song to perform like.. Ever. Transcendent to actually pull it off
I got to see her live twice and she is the real deal!!
She can sing in three octaves at once. It's like she's singing a chord.

Ryn Weaver has not stopped singing. She has been relatively quiet in recent years, but she has been active on social media and has hinted at new music in the works. In a recent interview, she said that she is "taking her time" with her next project and that she wants to make sure it is "perfect."
Weaver's last album, "The Fool", was released in 2015. She has since released a few singles, including "The Love You're Searching For" and "Hold On Me".
In 2021, Weaver announced that she was working on new music. She said that she was "excited to share what I've been working on" and that she was "looking forward to getting back to making music."
Weaver has not released any new music yet, but she has been active on social media, teasing fans with snippets of new songs. She has also been performing live shows, including a show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City in July 2021.
It is unclear when Weaver will release new music, but she has said that she is "committed to making the best music possible" and that she is "not going to rush anything." I think it is safe to say that Ryn Weaver is not done singing yet.

I don't think her voice really cracks, this is just how she normally sings if you've heard her other songs. I think for Octahate she pushed her voice to its limits, but tough to do that power live when her voice has limitations. And being nervous while performing on national TV probably did not help.
