It is always depends of the type of the yarn. Normaly 2 skeins of tube, t-shirt, cord or chunky yarn.

Hi🤗 Some options for you:
- add more rows for the bottom = wider and longer
- start the bottom 4 chains less and add 1 more rows = wider but about the same length
- you can make a round bottom = same width and length
- you can make a square bottom = same width and length
- you can start longer chains = longer bottom but same width
- you can start longer chains and more rows = longer and wider bottom
