Plus the staff strictly follow SOP. Have a pleasant quiet demeanour when handling food. Food served in positive environment will tend to be consistently good.
Fellow Muslims, the chicken is not halal. So even the rice is non halal. Notice the non halal slaughter mark on the chicken neck. How can you call your food Muslim friendly? Use halal chicken and halal ingredients or else you are misadvertising.
@pakngah3715 This is a guy from Thailand. He comes from a country that is 97% Buddhist. He did not explicitly say he was offering Halal food. He said the restaurant is Muslim Friendly. You've automatically interpreted that to be Halal. So, what was he trying to say? One of the dishes we saw today is a Thai classic, Khao Pad Gaprow Moo Kai Dao, or rice topped with Pork Mince in Thai Basil and Egg. This is one of my favorite Thai street food dishes. Only, that's not what he actually served. He served chicken instead of pork. So, instead of the classic Gaprow Moo Kai Dao, he served Gaprow Gai Kai Dao. That's like a Malay guy coming to India and selling Chicken Rendang. So, his definition of being Muslim friendly is to exclude all pork and lard from his restaurant, even in his traditional dishes. Since he NEVER mentioned that his food is HALAL, I don't see why you guys need to make a song and dance about it.

Chicken rice is simple dish. Don't stinge on ingredients and aromatics, naturally it will taste nice as chicken already has nice umami.

RM11.90 for such a carefully prepared plate is a steal for end 2024 times.
Just by the sauces and the preparation, I can say this Khao Man Gai has already been modified to adapt to malaysian tastebuds.
I missed this place when I travelled there.
