3:47 ⚠ВНИМАНИЕ⚠! , разъëб! Years ago when I (me me *Me* !) discovered Ultravox because of Metal Gear Solid V The Man who sold the world out if this world cover of one of my favorite (at that time, also i discovered Bowie love recently as well) songs ever. And then i listened to some other songs of his and was there in comment section rabbit hole after I discovered that before Ultravox there was Ultravox! by Foxx and it had Hiroshima mon Amur and i was there in comment section looking at fans of Foxx' original ! dissing Ure's version of the band for songs being unremarkable and whatever. And among Ure's defenders were Majority of peoples with "what about Vienna though" and although i already loved Ure's Ultravox (as well as Foxx' btw) I looked it up, run it first time and was like "that's it?, HUH?!" and then "BORING BORING I AM BORED" (I already was big fan of Love's adventure and Visions in blue and many others). But then, somehow, later on not only Vienna "grew" on me, but This 3:47 moment just became absolute bliss trigger for me whenever I hear it. And in terms of debate aforementioned i am as neutral as anyone can be. One the one hand i Am On the side of Creator >>> people who come up later on, always because without one the other wouldn't exist even if that other is entirely different thing. On the other hand I love both equally.
Fantastically arranged, very well executed! I have a good knowledge of music theory, I've managed to figure out 80% of this and notated it onto sheet music, added harmony, ie chords in the left hand. What is that chord you're playing with both hands (repeated a few times during the tune) at the 3:01 and 3:07, to me it sounds like a G sus4 or a Csus2, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have perfect pitch lol
I’m sorry mate but I don’t know about chords. If you download the midi file of Vienna it’ll show you each note press though I’m sorry I just never learnt music theory and all that. I just taught myself at 32 years old and understand it in my own way Thanks for the compliment!
Footnote, I fully understand why people don't desire to learn music theory, I began my music journey in late April 2020, one Sunday night after watching something on UA-cam of all places I thought I'll learn a bit of theory then go out and purchase a weighted digital piano. Week 1 went by and at the point I had done about 50 or 60 hrs (was on holidays at time), I became incredibly frustrated I had delved into things like the circle of 5ths amongst other things, I almost gave up and conceded that this is much harder than I had initially realised, however I persevered with it and 900-1000 hrs later I purchased a digital piano in January 2021. It was and still is the best decision of my life, I've realised that music has evoked incredibly powerful emotions, sadly the yamaha didn't last and I've had to purchase an acoustic from playing complicated heavy classical music. I'm also getting into 80s music as well, The Cars/drive, Dire Straits/Private investigations to name a few, if only I could have made this my career when I was younger rather than being involved with IT work

@@TeamOfThe80s Thanks, I sure will, just not sure which midi file you're referring to, is it from another video?
