FunFact Luffy's second gear is extremely weak against Magalan. Because this technique is based on increasing the speed of blood circulation in the body. So Luffy is literally helping Magalan with killing himself.

3:26 that is actually how second gear attacks interpreted in the manga, it is so fast as though the attack only punches midair but not actually hitting the target, creating like a hole in the air. I find it coller that way rather in anime we can still see most of the time that luffys punch actually hit the target
Especially the first few times against Blueno because it created a much bigger level of hype from him just punching the air and Blueno getting ripped into pieces.

yeah most of second gear attacks (jet prefix) are so fast we don't see his body touches the targets, it may as well creates a sonic boom on each attack
I also like the connection of how jet propulsion engine is able to create sonic booms

No, they still connect. You just see 2 rings: 1 is where is his fist breaks the sound barrier, the 2nd is the impact spot.

What if Luffy actually died to the poison and Bon Clay felt so guilty for not helping him fight Magellan that he swears to take on Luffy's dream. The rest of the series is Bon-chan leading the Straw Hats disguised as Luffy, eventually finding the One Piece and becoming King of the Pirates

Logia - gives ability of nature element. Ice, Fire, Light, Darkness etc. Such things as wax, poison and other stuff - similar, but not the same. Even if you can manipulate your body just LIKE logia - it still wouldn't be logia.
For example - you can turn into milk. Milk - is not nature element. But because of liquid nature of milk - you can alternate your body as you want (not automaticaly, as logia).

Magellan is not logia, because even if you can argue his venom may be found in nature, he cant turn his body into a "liquid" he just coats his body in venom

Katukuri can turn his body into a "liquid" but mochi cant be found in nature thats why he isnt a logia too

And
3) users who dont belong on those previous categories (and also obviously not logia nor zoan) such as the marine who can manipulate rust, tsuru's wash wash fruit, buggy's bara bara etc
