The fact that there have been x-men movies out for over 20 years and we still haven't seen Wolverine wear his iconic yellow tiger-striped suit is fking outrageous.
@@KootenaiKing EXACTLY, The MCU does a great job of eventually getting to the iconic suits but evolve over the films like Steve Rogers in the infinity saga he wore the silly costume in 2012 and in endgame we finally got to see the debut of his chain mail costume
His brown suit is my favorite. I know his Weapon X costume isn't exactly a suit as it's more of a harness and a helmet, it's still an awesome variant. And his Dark Claw (Batman amalgamation) costume is pretty damn cool.
The weapon X outfit is iconic even if I'm not particularly a fan. The orange and tan though is the best. It's too bad they were keeping it as a surprise and didn't point out that the black and grey look was based on that and not the tiger striped versions. John Byrne hated Len Wein's original outfit. That's the main reason the closer to pelt accurate brown suit exists. And ironically when Jim Lee brought it back and it got featured in the 90s cartoon my reaction was what the hell do tiger stripes have to do with wolverines. Yeah I'm an 80s kid an had never seen the yellow and blue.
The thing people forget about the Weapon X look. It wasn't an intended look. It was instruments to monitor and study Logan, post-Adamantium skeleton. If he hadn't escaped the lab, I'm sure he would have received a uniform in time.
Fingers crossed (or should I say “adamantium claws crossed” 😜) that Marvel will give Wolvie a comic accurate suit, maybe a modernized version, for his MCU debut 🤞
Personally, I don’t think he’s the type of guy to wear a Supe outfit. I’m glad the Fox universe kept him outta the costume, and the only way I’m willing to see him in the uniform is if it’s his way of showing he’s down with the cause. (I’m imagining Forge, Jubilee, and Kitty all designing his costume and Logan hating it because it looks weird) I’d also be willing to accept Samurai armor in the the blue and yellow color pallet on him. Maybe as a back story thing for him or as a gladiator on Sahkaar in the new World War Hulk
Hopefully in the MCU, the brown and yellow suit will represent Wolverine solo, than the yellow and Blue suit represents when he officially joins the X-men
Personally, my favorite has always been his bone claw bandana look. I’ve always loved the more savage elements of Wolverine, and that look too it to an 11. They had him all tattered up, not bothering with the full cowl, sporting crazy body hair, and rocking the jagged bone claws…just gnarly-looking. He was an animal, and even though he didn’t have the adamantium for a bit, a Wolvie with his full speed and healing factor in effect had to be just as terrifying to face.
That goes beyond mere suit since it's mostly just a tiger stripe variant. If I recall correctly they tried to force adamantium back into his body (before the official return) and the rejection of it caused a mutation very much akin to Beast's. As it's a transformation I'm inclined to disregard it. Not because it's bad at all. More due to the fact that it's one of those instances of characters with uncharacteristic power sets.
I had that action figure too! My grandfather gave it to me before he passed away. I was really young at the time but I remember playing with it on his lap as he watched TV in his favorite chair.
It’s just a great modern version of a suit without losing anything but even perhaps making it better rather than just having random black stripes the costume has the yellow stripes on the blue so it’s just more sleek It’s like Batman going from the yellow oval to just a bat (even though the bat by itself was the original not the oval)
I met Jim Lee at a comic expo, he is a GENTLEMAN AND A SCHOLAR! One of the best interactions I’ve ever had with someone I admire! Drew me a pencil sketch of Logan which I cherish to this day! His Wolverine suit will always be my favourite hands down !
Marvel Strike Force just got updated and I noticed that they added a new Wolverine suit. I played the game, done playing, closed it, opened UA-cam and saw this video. Great coincidence.
There can be no other #1.... 100% agree. The theme song for that show has been my ringtone for a while... nostalgia, grew up with this version of Wolverine.
Best Wolverine suit is a white muscles shirt and jeans. Hugh Jackman wear it a lot in the Fox X-Men. I know that Variant Comics made a video about Daredevil when it came out on Netflix but they should do it again for the people who do know like a recap of Daredevil
1. The Incredible Hulk 180 2. 2014 Armor 3. Jim Lee 4. Days of Future Past 5. Ultimate 6. Age of Ultron 7. Age of Apocalypse 8. X Force 9. Weapon X 10. Yellow and Brown suit 11. Fear itself 12. Hydra My Favorite Best Wolverine suits ever
@@UltimateSpider1385 I mean, it's universally agreed on that Ultimate spiderman was the best, and to some the only good thing, about the Ultimate universe. So I can relate to both you and his point.
Brown and tan Wolvie is the one I remember the most because growing up in the 90s, all of my uncle's 80s and 90s comics I wanted to read but he wouldng let me from this era. All I could do is look at the covers or peer over his shoulders while he read.
They really should’ve given them their iconic outfits from the beginning. Seeing a young Hugh Jackman in his brown and yellow suit or his blue and yellow suit, would’ve been amazing.
I just got to say, I'm shocked you didn't even give an honorable mention to X-men Evolution. In my opinion that was one of Wolverine best redesigns ever. I absolutely loved the orange and black suit, it was really different from the previous suits, but still had some familiar elements.
His Age of Apocalypse costume is my all time favorite. The overly bushy hair with the red facial markings blue suit and missing one of his hands was bad ass
My favorite is definitely the brown one since it still harkens back to his iconic blue and yellow look but makes him have a sense of independence from the X-Men and fits better in a forested setting he’s known to be in
Hulk has had a few. You could say the different Hulk's also represent costume changes. Then there was the Pantheon arc, wherein Hulk was a team leader, sporting giant guns...
#4 were originally known as "The Danger Room" or the "Practice" uniforms. While Jim Lee didn't create the practice uniforms, he not only brought them back from the brink off obscurity, but he elevated them to, not only OG status, but my all-time favorite unified team looks, X-Men or otherwise

Good work!
Post more on marvel judgement day! I absolutely love it so far and love the way you guys explain it
Can you do a top 10 strongest metals of the marvel universe video please?
Honorable mention for me would have to be the orange suit from X-men: Evolution. I think it’s a truly underrated X-men series
I came here to comment exactly this. That was my first exposure to the xmen.
Super underrated!
Yuppp x men evolution is goated
Facts that show needs more attention
Also that outfit was great I wish they'd adapt that in the comics
my favorite as well, he looked so wolffish and fierce
The fact that there have been x-men movies out for over 20 years and we still haven't seen Wolverine wear his iconic yellow tiger-striped suit is fking outrageous.
Hopefully we’ll see him wear it in the mcu once they introduce him.
@@joshuaa7223 sure, but I feel like the suit needs to serve a purpose, and not just fan-service.

"what would you prefer, yellow spandex?" Why yes Cyclops, yes I would
My favorite is the brown suit. It just makes more sense for a stealthy guy to wear dark colors and earth tones always fit him.
That blue & yellow suit, X-Force red & black suit, his "Days Of Future Past" suit, "Fear Itself" armor & Weapon X costume are my personal favorites.
His brown suit is my favorite. I know his Weapon X costume isn't exactly a suit as it's more of a harness and a helmet, it's still an awesome variant. And his Dark Claw (Batman amalgamation) costume is pretty damn cool.

The Age Of Apocalypse suit was a good one, should have been an honorable mention.
Yes agreed!
The orange and brown is my favorite Wolverine costume. Close second is his yellow and blue.
i like that the blue and yellow tiger stripe suit was on there like three times
I like his classic suit, 90s Animated version, Brown and gold, the Stealth black and grey and His Orange and Black suit from X Men Evolution
I always like the brown and tan suit because the color scheme is more like the actual wolverine animal.
It's the suit Wolverine wore the longest.
The brown and tan also the astonishing and classic suits are my favorites

The X-Force black & gray suit is the only one I “need” to see in live action
Loved his costume as a member of The Four Horseman
Wolverine and Hulk had brilliant Horseman costumes.
Yes. Wolverine as Death was my favorite.
The orange and black suit in X-Men: Evolution is easily my favorite Wolverine look. The brown and yellow is a close second.
Hopefully in the MCU, the brown and yellow suit will represent Wolverine solo, than the yellow and Blue suit represents when he officially joins the X-men
His Team X suit was his pre-Superhero costume. Relatively easy to adapt onscreen.
