Thanks for taking the time to show us all the wonderful vehicles! Most of us will never have the chance to see such a diverse selection from classic to race machines. Cheers
Michael I look forward to your videos, and when they are uploaded it's like Christmas. I like you enthusiasm and knowledge and your willingness to get right in the mix. Your narration and delivery is unique. Never change brother. Thanks again.
Fabulous video, thanks for posting. Sitting over here on a dreary cold day in the south of England, it's great to be able to look around this superb event which I'm very unlikely to ever get to in person. Doing a walk-round like this really conveys some of the atmosphere, and it's great to see so many British cars in the various classes. Wonderful stuff, please keep it up, and many thanks again!
The hood ornament on Wayne Carini's MG at 7:08 is a 1920 Corning "Goddess of Smoke". These were originally the centerpiece of an ashtray but they had threads that fit radiators so many were converted to be hood ornaments. Very nice touch.
Ho - leee, that was amazing. Some of those cars are absolutely priceless. Thanks so much Richard for doing this video for us. I was blown away by some of those. Cheers !!!
Excellent video, sir. What particularly impresses me is that it was a 25 minute, one take video, with a live commentary, and not overdubbed later. That takes some doing. Always love your work, Richard, holding a wrench or a camera.
Richard, thanks so much for doing these videos. I didn't realize the event was happening this weekend and missed it. I was actually nearby. I have a gold concourse Healey myself. Would have loved to attend. Maybe next year. Keep posting these videos... We love them!
Hello Richard! You have presented a lot of old and very rarity dream cars👍. I am really enjoyed it. Thank you for this wonderful video. Best regards from Hans and Cheers 🍻🇦🇹.
Wonderful video, Richard That 1936 SS Jaguar 100 appeared at The Elegance at Hershey in 2017. The remarkable thing about the unique bodywork on this car is that, aside from being stunningly beautiful, virtually nothing is known about the company that built it. I believe it has a body tag with the company's name and that it was made England, but beyond that no records survive. Clearly the makers had world-class talent and must have worked at other firms, and for their identities to just vanish into history like that is hard to fathom.
Thank you Richard ! fwiw the 1954 Jaguar XK120 Supersonic is on french plates ;) Conrero design possibly... lovely indeed ! PS: the Ecurie Ecosse D-type does not seem to me to have a wide angle head, there would be more space between the head bolts and the cam cover I believe (I won't comment on the 3 Spanish Weber carbs...).
Of Course Wayne had to be there..... I don`t think he ever misses and I don`t blame him..... The quality of the Sculptured Machinery is Astounding.... As good as any Painting or Statue...... Not sure about your choice Richard... The Car at 24:00, My first thought was 2CV..... It must be a French thing.... Great work Mr Owen...... More Please.... :-))
Great video Richard. I really enjoyed it! Most Porsche 908s were spyders. They were used at circuits like the Targa Florio and Nurburgring because they handled better than the 917s and power wasn't so important. I think many Porsche drivers much preferred the 908 to the 917 as they were a lot more driveable. Beautiful cars.
Hi Richard . So you were invited ? That in itself is an honour . And as always your knowledge is , rather like the cars , breathtaking ! If you run through the video there was a registration number on the rear of the "D"type .....??? 301. Thanks Richard .
Thank you for your knowledge & time you take to make these videos, just perfect. Am I right in saying (going by the shadow) you use a mobile with gimble? Great quality. Again thank you 👍
You certainly know your cars, quite impressive. Plus you accurately picked best in show! I was there today & while it had a nice selection of cars it’s definitely missing the leadership and polish of Bill Warner. The announcing was rough. I had to laugh a bit when they introduced the judges from a printed list. I observed in person (at past Amelia Concours) Mr. Warner introducing the judges by himself in front of them without a list. By memory. And he added an anecdote about each as well. End of the old era I suppose. Guess I should be happy that the event itself will continue. Thanks for your efforts of bringing the cars to those who could not attend.
Thank you! But a small correction, if I may: The wheel-items that you referred to as "Hubcaps" are, in fact, properly called "Nave Plates". Hub caps keep the grease in the hubs. The XK that you filmed has visible hub caps.
never even heard the term "nave plate". seems to be a UK only term? here in the US we have hubcaps and dustcaps to keep the dirt out of the bearings. hubcaps are decorative in nature.
What a great show. I wish I could have made it this year but we where just gearing down after the Sebring Speedtour. the music is a real shame. Hope for no copyright strike. ill never understand why anyone wants to listen to that while gazing at works of art!
Great video Richard, mind blowing sculptured designs. l think from my perspective the 50's-60's Ferrari's are the best for styling. What make of camera do you use, the quality of the picture is first class for clarity ?
@@RichardMichaelOwen Its great to see all those classic race cars, but its even better to see them flat out at the track.. I enjoy your channel keep it up!
the Ferrari 250 Europa, the original Mustang fastback? I don't follow Ferrari so my first thought was, what's a "stang doing in with the Ferraris? Look at the louvers...someone was a copycat!
Your videos are great. Nice smooth walk throughs, very broad knowledge of the various vehicles, and no annoying music!...Thank you sir👍
Thank you for the perfect presentation. Your knowledge of the different cars , models and names are second to none. Bravo !

very enjoyable tour of an event that I would have trouble getting to.
250 TDF. Looking Sinister in red!!
Thank you. I wish I had attended.
Keep them coming. Straight to the point with no wizzwazz. Thanks a lot -

Yes, wonderful stuff. I’m always impressed by people who can walk so casually among such great cars and convey their knowledge to others.
wonderfully done ! lo,,
Magnificent tour! RMO, thanks very much... As always, your knowledge of cars is beyond impressive. Cheers & Jag on!
What a fabulous collection of cars to see in one spot! Thank you for posting this, the restoration quality is breathtaking too!

@@uliwehner It was extensively used in Commonwealth Countries, but succumbed to ignorance and laziness in the 1970s or so.
@@MichaelKingsfordGray well, the good news is that i now know a new word, albeit an out of use one, like hubcaps are as well. or beauty rings....
