I've watched Dr Phil for many years. As of tonight after watching Phil interview Mr Trump I will never watch his shows again. He allowed Mr Trump to spew his lies without calling him on any of them. There's been many great Republican presidents in the past. I think Reagan and Eisenhower were two of them. PEOPLE PLEASE STOP AND THINK ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!

t's BS that Biden cannot stop New York from going after Trump, The President of the United States has certain tools and influences that can be leveraged, even if not directly stopping state-level actions. Here’s how Biden could exert pressure:

I’m very disappointed in you. I saw an interview you had with One of the comic hosts. You said you could tell if someone was mentally disturbed within 90 seconds of talking to them. You set for an hour with Donald Trump, and didn’t realize what mental condition he’s in. Oh, that cohost happened to be David Letterman. Also, I remember you always saying you don’t get involved with politics apparently you changed your mind. I would like to see you have the prosecuting attorney or someone in their office interviewed by you!

I would exit stage left, and leave the theatre altogether, forever. New York doesn’t deserve the taxes these businesses bring in. There are plenty of other cities that would welcome these businesses and the tax revenue they bring in, without having to worry about getting caught up in political lawfare BS.

Dr. Phil lied by saying he promised to ask all question.
Dr will always be a trump supporter even when trump caused everything on himself. While he was in court, he didn’t respect the judge or the law and thats ok with dr. But on his show, he has solutions but decline to advise trump the same way. A friend inviting a friend for an interview; what we expect.
Dr. Phil also agree with Jan 6; that itself speaks volume.

Ask The Central Park 5 or basically any black or brown person in this country, falsely accused and jailed pending trial, *note Donald, after violating a legally imposed gag order (gag orders are not unusual for one who tends to pose a danger to witnesses, jurors, etc) ten times, not including the blatant violations not presented to the court, was not incarcerated *, about the two-tier justice system in this country. There ARE different applications of the law, especially pre-trial, for the wealthy and well-connected. If any of the cases Donald is currently facing, including the case he was just convicted of 34 counts in, they would not be allowed to threaten witnesses, jurors, or family members of court personnel, they would not remain free after ten gag order violations and they would not be allowed to throw temper tantrums in front of the press at the beginning & end of the days in session while disrespecting the jury by sleeping during court.
I do not believe “guilty until proven innocent”, with the exception of a few cases, most certainly that was not the case for Donald. I do believe we have a two-tiered justice system; one for the wealthy & well-connected and the other for the poor - middle class, especially individuals of color.
Donald was born into the lap of luxury, yet he has been committing crimes, following Fred Trump’s footsteps, since the early 80s I believe, I would have to look up exact data - however you are perfectly capable of finding that all on your own.

We traveled often to Europe during Trump's presidency. Anytime anyone found out we were Americans, first question Always: "What do you think about Trump?" My response always was the same: "You have to divorce the politics from the personality" meaning people hate him personally, but if you can separate the persona from what he was doing for the country, you would have a much different view.

I’ve watched every Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, and Oprah show on tv since their inception. I’ve read all their books. I’ve been an ardent fan. I’m a seeker of information. I’m discerning, and do my research. Recently, Dr. Oz greatly disappointed me with his pro DT and GOP stance. Now, Dr. Phil has sadly done the same. Thank goodness Oprah has her wits about her and doesn’t “fawn over” DT like Dr. Phil just did during his interview with the election denier, and the Jan. 6 uprising he called against our Capitol. I’m sad that Dr. Phil empathizes with DT to the point of making him out to be the victim of Biden and the Dems!
I’m a therapist and realize that part of what Dr. Phil was doing was to allow DT to “run with his mouth” and incriminate himself. That often a therapist has to meet the narcissist, and the sociopath, and the pathological liar (all of which characterize DT), where they are at in order to enter their world. I’d like to give Dr. Phil the benefit of the doubt, but Dr. Phil also warns us not to do that anymore because there is evil amongst us, and so we must be more discerning. Normally, Dr. Phil is directive and confrontative with these types of people on his many years running, and now off-the-air, tv shows. But with DT he never addressed DT’s many lies, fake news, distortions, and his many faults and indictments on anything. It was all about DT’s complaints and threats that WWlll is around the corner and all could have been avoided - no war in Ukraine or Israel if he would have been president, and all the great things he did as president, etc. Astounding hyperbole! Dr. Phil then asked DT - What do you think you can do now to fix this mess Biden and the Dems have made of things that could bring us into WWlll?! What?! Who are you Dr. Phil? Dr. Phil you have greatly disappointed me! You’ve completely lost what was your rationality. I can no longer be your ardent fan. It has become clearly evident that you are so entrenched in your religion, and your GOP political party stance that you are in denial and unable to see clearly on the issues. It’s too close to your own personal view of things. Just like several Supreme Court Justices who are now being “outed” for their religious beliefs clouding their ability to do justice. You didn’t address any, let alone all the damage DT has done. Your most recent book “We Have Issues,” was my first clue that you were pointing your finger of blame in the wrong direction - towards the Dems. But your statement that you would have laid down in front of any car that was taking DT to go on the bench in his defense during his most recent trial was shocking to hear! You then call it a “travesty of justice” that a jury and judicial system found him guilty of all 34 counts. Your lawyer friend slanted the facts of the hearing and much of the truth was left out. Shame on you Dr. Phil. You are taking your position as a prominent national therapist, and now media mogul to support a mentally sick, rageful, narcissistic, psychopath who thinks he walks on water! Did you watch the National coverage of what President Trump said to the people on January 6, he said nothing about rioting. He said just the opposite.
Ardent fan? Watched every episode? Seeker of information? Discerning and do research? You're clearly not as good as you think you are or you'd know that Phil built his entire life and career around psychology, trial consulting, and the art of reading people. He's a master, pulls no punches, minces no words, and works to get to truth & justice. He knows the law and knows the egregious injustices that occured in this case.
