Hello from Switzerland to my old Telluride. You brought back memories from the 70s while watching this. To Hell You Ride is what we called it, especially in the winter. I saw the building on the left as you drove through, which was where I saw the first Star Wars movie in 1977, and also had my first date and kiss, while watching. We lived on the right side from where you were driving in. I remember skiing on the roads in the morning to school and then afterwards going straight to the lift before closing, to ski all around and ski down the far side back home. So fun to watch. Thanks.
Thanks for watching. If you are considering doing the drive this should show you the path so you feel more confident on getting up in your car or walking.
this is a terrific video - we have done this drive - I remember telling my husband over and over that he wasn't allowed to drive up there ahaha - so he's so happy to see he is - and now will take our son.
Thanks. Before going I searched out video of that road but they were all shakey and hard to watch so thought I'd make a nice new one that really shows off the experience of driving up that road to the falls. I have 2-3 more im.editing from telluride.
Awesome video Sean! Thank you for taking the time to capture all the footage of the drive... definitely makes it much easier and more exciting for newcomers to the Colorado scene. I'm planning on heading out that way soon once the build on my Gladiator is complete...definitely gonna hit up this amazing trail.
Nice, i have been eyeballing those. i patiently wait to see if toyota might bring back the FJ but have the Gladiator in mind if not. this is a fun and easy trail. if you keep going past the house at the top it becomes a much much harder one so be aware.
Never been there so far. Planning a trip this summer.. It is my understanding that that is as far as you can go when you coming up. Black Bear Pass is one way(down) from that point. I think they aloud you to go up all the way once a year. Nice vid of the falls in reverse. That way cool.
Not sure now. Gina is back this sunday with the kiddo. So we will be using my days off till her school starts back up mid august. Maybe right after that on a Monday ?
Was there yesterday. It was beautiful but there was less than 10% of the water flow in this video. I'm gonna plan another trip there likely in the spring.
Great video! We will be in that area in Sept and hope to take this road. How many miles of gravel road is that to the end ? I see several people hiking.
I loved this vdo. could you please advise- what type of car minimum should I rent to go to the top to see this beaitufil view as I have 6yrs old kid with me. looking forward to your advise pls....thanks, Khan
i have a very reliable outback but i would walk to the trailhead rather than having my car going through the roughness. people may say that is what high clearance AWD is for. it's just my personal opinion.
Stunning scenery Sean, glad I watched this drone “prequel “. You mentioned that those in 2 wheel vehicles can park up in the first car park and then hike up to the falls....it seems a heck of a long hike, they must be totally wiped out by the time they get to the top! Looking forward to seeing the sequel. Take care and catch you later. Peter

I know it's kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to watch newly released series online ?
@Tate Landry try Flixzone. You can find it on google :)
@Tate Landry I would suggest Flixzone. You can find it on google =)

Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome. Thanks for posting! This is super helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
It’s not often I see such respectful tourists in telly 🙌🏽
I'm gonna hope this was sincere. I live in the mountains so I sorta love them.
Wow ! Beautiful area ! Reverse waterfall was too cool . Thank you sir ! 👍
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it and caught that. Slipped it in not sure if anyone would catch it.
Thank you so much for sharing this video, I showed it to my wife and I we’ll go there during the summer of 2022.
Glad it was helpful.
So incredibly beautiful! Without a 4wd that would be an incredibly long walk! This is on my must do list. Thanks!!
It was pretty awesome.
Nice FJ. Nice video. Thanks for posting this!
Thanks.
Very nice, i want more victure, sir.
I have a few waterfall videos and telluride videos.
Nice video Sean I was last there about 7 years ago, can't wait to see the rest of the video to come. 😛

@@SeanOzz I'll be pa
Sorry big fingers I'll be patient and wait to see the next one.
Thanks for the trip, this place looks awesome.
So beautiful. Makes where I live look ugly. Drone video of it coming tomorrow or Wednesday.

Very beautiful! The falls are just the best. Great job!😃👍🏼
Thank you. Tomorrows video is even better.
Ok I will check it out👍🏼😃
I love water falls
Then you're going to love my next video.
Thank you so so much !!! This place is on top of my list for photography and your video gives great ideas.
Glad it was helpful! it is a pretty unique pit stop for sure.
Great video mate you have some lovely country there
Thanks.
Amazing video, especially the part of reverse water flow. Do you know if one needs a permit from the City for flying a UAS?
Not sure how it is now but when I went there were spots you could just fly.

i have heard that as well. hear it is a sketchy drive. have fun.
Nice 😀
👍🏻
Good video Sean. I like the reverse waterfall. When do you want to hook up and go ATVing and droning?
Not sure now. Gina is back this sunday with the kiddo. So we will be using my days off till her school starts back up mid august. Maybe right after that on a Monday ?
@@SeanOzz That would probably work. I will be gone for a few days around the 1st of August.
Can you go to the top? What is the white building? Wonder if it’s open to the public neat overlooks up there!
i think it is something to do with energy using the falls?
Was there yesterday. It was beautiful but there was less than 10% of the water flow in this video. I'm gonna plan another trip there likely in the spring.
Yeah. Late season there isn't much snow left to run off. Gorgeous area
Great video! We will be in that area in Sept and hope to take this road. How many miles of gravel road is that to the end ? I see several people hiking.
I think it's just about a mile and a half up from the parking area at the bottom. It's an easy hike for sure.
I loved this vdo. could you please advise- what type of car minimum should I rent to go to the top to see this beaitufil view as I have 6yrs old kid with me. looking forward to your advise pls....thanks, Khan
Rent a jeep or a 4wheel drive and it will be easy.
@@SeanOzz Awesome ! thanks I will do that.....how long was the drive from the downtown to the top apprx please ?
30 min
Great video, is it possible to drive minivan on that route?
To that bottom spot you will be fine. Then walk.
Just made it here at 8pm, can't wait to wake up to some views and of course some Mary Jane
great views. enjoy!
Can we do the offroad in a normal AWD suv? Or do we need very high clearance?
You can up to some point. One has to turn around infront of me
Is this drive open in the winter?
Not to the top I don’t think but double check to be sure
Is the powerplant private property? Are you allowed to go inside and see it?
I’m not sure to be honest
@@SeanOzz Ah that's too bad, thanks anyways!
I have a high clearance FRont Wheel Drive vehicle, what do you think? Could I get as high as you went?
I wouldn't but never say never.
whats the name of the very last song used in this video that same song was used on the marcall paper factory fire
i am not sure. it is a free song located in the youtube studio for use on youtube.
Hey Sean I plan on walking the road by chance do you know how long it would take?
i would guess give your self at least 2 hours .
Do you think i cam make it in a Subaru forester 2015
not in the winter, summer you probably can.
Every blue car that i known the owner for has been called the Blueberry by them or me. And for a Blue FJ, really no other name fits.
Ha ha. That is awesome to know.
What month was this?
The date shows July 2019.
What types of covid19 restrictions do they have in Telluride?
No clue since I do not live there. Mask for sure though.
@@SeanOzz thanks though I'm going this weekend for sure
Should be beautiful there right now.
How was it? My best friend and I are going last week of Sept. Can't wait!!!
i have a very reliable outback but i would walk to the trailhead rather than having my car going through the roughness. people may say that is what high clearance AWD is for. it's just my personal opinion.
👍🏻
wow lucky you, looks like in time recorded 15:58 the water is going up the falls
Wish it was luck but all time and lots of planning and saving.
First....yayyy.
+peter hughes ha ha. I think you will like the drone only video of that waterfall. Should be up tomorrow or Wednesday.

@@peterhughes2091 its longer than I wanted to do but under two miles if my memory serves correctly. Ha ha
Curious to how you got to go up it backwards
Video shows you and it’s not backwards. Lol. It’s two way.
its much better if you ride you bike up.
How would I pull my fj up with a bike? I would be so so sad leaving it behind.
The majority of this video is DRIVING to same same reggae loop played over and over. Wow. Seriously???
Yep. It’s the drive to the falls. Smart one.
Nice .
Thanks
