Every Orson Welled film is a lesson in filmmaking and should be studied by anyone either wants to be a director of just a better one. He knew how to shoot a film.that looked like no one else's. Even if the stories are a little contrived and convoluted they are a feast for the eyes.
Orson Welles was one of Hollywood's best and I can't think of another who made movies with twist and turns a genius of story telling I was very much entertained it's like real life sometimes making sense and sometimes not.
I wish we had a movie maker like Welles now. T The colorization does not bother me at all. It's just a real treat to watch these old classical movies. Thanks for uploading!
Soy cinefilo tengo mas de 2000 peliculaa pero en mi opinion las peliculas en blaco y negro se deben respetar en todo gracias por las peliculas que envias via you tube y te felicito 😊😊😊
Hollywood basically turned out Orson Welles after he wouldn't play their game after "Citizen Kane". He made many fine films like this one, but not in America. Most came from the UK and elsewhere in Europe. It's a shame Welles was treated like this; it is somewhat his fault, but if Hollywood had just let him make movies, who knows what he could have done?
Welles, Tarantino, Herzog, Pabst, Lang, so few directors and only a handful who applied raw life to cinema...oh damn, them Cohen brothers, too. Sam Peck, an them Mann bros. Ridley.... There ain't but a few
Sam Fuller---"L ife is in color but black and white is more realistic." (Off the top of my head I can name two Renoir's The River and Ford's She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.

I really think “colorized” is an unfair description of these old great movies molested by color. Perhaps a more accurate description would be “pulsating color. I can’t watch long because of the wiggling color, it gives me headache.
@@CultCinemaClassics thanks for the tip. After rereading my post it sounds snarkier than I meant it to. So please accept my apologies for my a bit over the top comment. Like I’m sure you’re beyond weary of. I’ll try the link.

Now I’ve got a suggestion for the next acid movie night with the wife… this movie is a hoot!
It's great on mushrooms, trust me. All of Orson's films work with psychedelics, but this one is especially trippy. 👌

Colorizing this film in an insult to Wells' memory.
Concordo! (Yes)
Not of it gets people to watch it who wouldnt otherwise. I was horrified by b&w when I was younger
Amen!
Colorizing this film it's a sin? Not close, what matters is the story and the acting, and in those account it's great, still is great!😢😮😊
Colorized movie is better, congratulations 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Ed Wood likes this one.
Brando wasn't all that great in my book , but Orson Wells was great.
Ps That Head!?
Zeus Greek God 😮
Why are some videos in this playlist hidden?
if Welles ever saw this he would HATE it, I assure you
That thumbnail looks like an FPS NPC from 2005
Alguém sabe me informar se esse filme é baseado em fatos reais ou histórias reals ?
