Liam and Steffy bond over the birth of their baby girl. Ridge is overwhelmed when he meets his granddaughter for the first time. Liam carefully weighs on Ridge’s advice about staying with Steffy and their family. Brooke attempts to remain strong for Hope through this tough time. Liam becomes furious when he learns that Bill was responsible for Steffy falling and going into early labor.
I love how Ridge's so supportive of his children, making up for lost time I guess cos in the past he wouldn't have dared challenged Hope and Brooke. I love Thorsten K for this role he fits perfectly as a father

Hope was happy and relieved Kelly was ok.
The writers really messed this up. Liam didn’t even get a chance to be Kelly’s dad before the writers made Hope pregnant. I think they should have let Liam and Steffy connect and then had Hope and Liam always around making Steffy feel insecure until she said enough is enough. They did Steffy wrong. I’m not saying that Steffy didn’t mess up with sleeping with Bill but we didn’t get a chance to see Steffy with Kelly enough. They shift focus and made it all about Hope being pregnant by Liam. That was so stupid.
Right with the fake perfect life for hope which really pissed me off they really did steffy wrong when steffy carried this show since 2010
That is what I have been saying... I mean did not allow any happiness and instead gave it to Hope and Liam and Steffy and Finn which both couples I cannot watch. I really stopped watching after this and just picked up here and there bc this was so wrong after Ivy and Quinn...just messed up

JMW, SC and previously KM were brilliant as a trio and they worked so well with each other.

Actually what you said is the complete opposite. Steffy brings drama and insecurities while Hope brings peace. Liam even flat out compared his drama to a constant rain cloud and only when Hope was around did the sun come out.

What amazes me about this is that Hope was all for marrying Liam when Steffy was pregnant. So the baby was gonna be born either way so let’s say they did get married and then this happen would she still feel like he should be with Steffy and then get an annulment so that he can. Then finds out she’s pregnant and she’s like okay I’m pregnant so now we have to get back together like her baby is more important. She was always so supportive up until she wants Liam back and he has go right back to her. Hope really makes no sense to me.

He made the choice to stay with her more than once. If anything, it was Brooke who fit your quote better. She tried to manipulate Ridge at every turn.

However, I do believe that Ridge has a massive role in setting a bad example to his eldest children (Steffy and Thomas).
This is mostly because of the fact that for the majority of their lives, they watched their father leave their mother and being in and out their lives growing up for the most part.
Plus, it helped breed resentment in both Steffy and Thomas, to varying levels. Mostly having resentment to Brooke and her family, as Ridge show preferential treatment towards his wife. (Love between couples and supporting them is understandable and expected).
Brooke, meanwhile has scarred Hope emotionally, as seen with her initial reluctance with intimacy. Since she grew up knowing her mother's reputation and hope did not want to become like her mother. I feel sorry for Hope in that regard, since it’s not her fault.
But she is doomed to be like her own mother, especially with Liam. She mentions loyalty and purity in a relationship, but has broken her own standards when having sex with Liam and when she knew Liam and Steffy were still married.
Plus being involved with Wyatt for a period of time and never truly "loving" him, while only staying with him for the sake of their baby.
in all 3 marriages of #Steam Hope has slept with liam, and was 2 times home wrecker, 1 time with Aspen #Steam s son unfortunately died and the 2nd time with Kelly !!!
She had plenty of time to have liam. She didn't want him until he wanted steffy and she kept bringing up the fact that steffy slept with bill but always seems to omit the fact that had a chance to get out of the marriage with wyatt and didn't and gotten pregnant with his baby

Hope will be making out with Liam in the locker room soon after, although he hadn't made up his mind at the time. But once again she expected everyone to give way because SHE is now pregnant and that was more important than Kelly. And by the way: the competition was still led by the Logans. Hope said this herself on the day of Liam and Steffy's wedding. For Brooke, it was always a fight she wanted to win. Either for herself or for Hope.

Ridge and Steffy's haters may well get us drunk with the fact that they are not Forrester by Eric. Except, Eric knew that Ridge was not his biological son. However, on Ridge's birth certificate, it says that Eric is the only father. Watching how Eric always was was very protective and close to Steffy. First, it is named after his one and only great love, who was also his best friend, you cannot say as much about the other women he had. In addition, the company also comes back to them because it was also Stéphanie Senior. Secondly, thanks to Steffy, they recovered the shares of the business from Bill because Stéphanie and Éric built this business together. Certainly, biologically they are not Forresters but who of Rick, Bridget or the others succeeded in saving the company. By complaining that their heritage is only in Forrester without that they have nothing. Rick manipulated his father so that Maya could play his duchess towards Aly and Avy. Bridget is not interested in the business, Thorne I liked her a lot with the old one but hey, the one to complain and moan. I agree, Steffy and Ridge are not perfect, but because of the scandals Brooke, Katie and Donna caused, Bill had the business in his hands several times. If we go this far, Hope and Marcus are neither Forrester nor Douglas, yet they are considered family members. Eric has a big heart and I prefer this Ridge unlike the old play by Ronn MOSS. Ridge 2.0 has more concern for its children than the former, who put more emphasis on Brooke and Hope despite Thomas, Steffy and RJ his biological children.
Ridge is indeed Eric's son due to love and effort and so on, but Eric DID NOT KNOW AND WOULD NOT HAVE RAISED RIDGE IF HE HAD KNOWN IT ALL ALONG. He even said to Stephanie, that he would not have married her if it was not for Ridge being on the way (they were extremly young and he was actually engaged to Brooke's mother who he left because of Stephanie's pregnancy..)Stephanie can say what she wants, but if you sleep with two men in a short period of time (she admitted to sleeping with them during the same period), you have to question the paternity. She said nothing until Ridge had an accident way after the twins were born and they ran a blood test which results excluded any possibility of Eric being his father. Forrester Creations may have been built with Stephanie's money but it is ERIC's talent that made it that big (he could have done it with an investor who believed in him, Stephanie on the other hand could not have done something like that without Eric..Stephanie has contributed moneywise, but ERIC is the company)

The Logan women are the real villians of this show. This should have been Liam and Steffy putting all their issues in the past behind them for good and raising their daughter together as a family but instead, Brooke and Hope were so self absorbed and selfish, they actively broke up Steam just so Hope could have what she wanted. And for what? Cause today, Liam and Hope are divorced and Liam still loves and wants Steffy and Hope is into Thomas. So it was all a waste of time. The only good thing to come out of it was Beth. So how can Steffy steal something that Hope gave away? Hope was the weirdo who changed her mind the next day and then stalked after Liam all the way to Aspen like a nut and Steffy did what she had to do to protect what was now hers 🤷♂️. Antoinette Hill I think they should do a twist like that because Liam and Hope never gotten a paternity test. Maybe there was another child that was that born night and Buckingham got the babies mixed up. Hope’s baby was horn early and there is no way there wasn’t complications. Maybe have it where the baby did live but died later due to health issues. I know the Hope fans feel that Hope shouldn’t have to lose her baby again but hell she shouldn’t have gotten pregnant in the first place. Steffy couldn’t really enjoy Kelly with Liam without the Hope drama and not to mention making Thomas crazy. Another twist would be that Beth turned out to be Thomas kid, where Thomas had a brief fling and got someone pregnant. That would also explain why Kelly and Beth looked similar because they were cousins. Cousins can look alike if their parents are full blooded siblings. That would really rock Hope if she was raising two of Thomas kids. Make Thomas go to therapy and find out he is on drugs or had a tumor the reason why he acted the way he did. Hope is selfish. She is worrying about herself here. She do not care about Kelly at all. She was going to marry Liam while Steffy was pregnant and she and Brooke didn’t care if that caused stress to the baby. What if Steffy went into labor due to the stress of Hope and Brooke badgering her about Liam.

Poor Ridge had no way of knowing that Kelly's happiness was never going to mean as much to Liam as Beth and Hope's happiness.

As for Hope not tolerating cheating, that was funny. She didn't care when she slept with and moved into Liam's house while he was still married to Steffy. She cheated on Liam with Wyatt. Then she didn't care about cheating on her husband Wyatt with Liam. Then she did it again when Steffy was pregnant and married to Liam. That little act of cheating created Beth. On another note Steffy slept with Bill because Liam cheated on Steffy with Sally. She wanted to be alone and Bill sought her out. It doesn't change what she did but it's not as black and white as everyone thinks.

very long and I do have a part 2 in the comments as well).
I seriously had some hope (no pun intended) that the writers would at least make the love triangle situation with hope, steffy and Liam a while lot more interesting or different.
I am tired of Liam's flip flopping between Hope and Steffy. I feel sorry for both characters (hope and steffy, but steffy even more so).
Liam should get his priorites straight and focus on the importance of his family and daughter. It just sickens me to see that Liam just can't decide who is better for him. I wish that Hope and Steffy held him truly accountable for his actions, call out his indecisive behaviour and move on, cause they truly don’t know him and are blinded by love for him.
But also his spineless attitude at times, like Liam, grow a genieune backbone, re Prioritise who, what and where is the most important things in your life and stick to it.
No woman deserves a guy or any partner who cannot make up his mind on what he wants in his life or who he chooses to spend it with.
To Steffy’s credit however she has slowly done that for her and Kelly’s sake. It shows me that Steffy is becoming more and independent from Liam. Unlike Hope.
Also, I am sick of Hope's inability to let go of Liam and move on from him. It feels as though the writers just make her super dependent on being with Liam and that's the basis of her character these days.
It seems as though the writers wanted Hope's whole character development being centred around Liam's character but also her own selfishness. It seems as though she has no personality whatsoever and just relies heavily on being entitled and self centred
It's evident she's just got this "me!me!me!" Attitude and can't even be grateful for 2 whole seconds without going "oh, poor me! The world's against me and that Steffy should stay aside for my sake, despite Steffy having Liam's daughter."
I do believe that Hope will have no boundaries for any bad behaviour she has towards anyone, especially Steffy. Look at what happened when Hope visited her 3 episodes ago, by acting somewhat smug that now Steffy understands what it was like to her in position (manipulated by Bill).
Like WTF? why go there! Sure Steffy was responsible for manipulating the situation for her sake in the past, but this time around she isn't intentionally trying to manipulate Liam by using Kelly as an excuse.
Hope is so fixated by the past it irritates me, like moaning on and on about her fate with Liam and their "future" together. Like Hope once saw that with Wyatt before, when she was pregnant with his child but now?
Her world revolves around Liam being her life, like damn it writers, give her a sensible personality.
Brooke isn't helping matters at all. I understand that parents do care for their children, but Brooke is just an enabler of Hope's behaviour and never seems to correct or call her out for making the wrong choices.
It's all just focused on Hope and not her other children (Rick, Bridget, RJ and Jack), like sure Bridget and Rick are pretty much adults now, RJ is in boarding school and Jack isn't in the picture. Hope is an adult, but Brooke coddles her like she's still a baby who needs help.
Like, she needs to stop putting herself and Hope on this giant pedestal they created to be the moral high ground and being more superior than others.
I get the fact that she cares Hope's wellbeing however it make issues even worse, between her and Ridge, including her step children.
She has raised steffy as well and got along well for a while but now Brooke just wants to blame Steffy for almost anything going wrong in hope's life. It's hypocritical for Brooke to call out Steffy's behaviour but doesn't do it when Hope does it (e.g. manipulation).
Brooke, not everything revolves around Hope and nor should it be. Expecting everything will go right for Hope 100% is unreasonable.
Also, it seems as though Brooke isn't as happy for Steffy as she claims to be, like I find the concern comes off as forced politeness and somewhat sincere but is upset that Kelly isn't Hope's daughter instead. It sounds like Brooke is jealous of Steffy for having the life that Hope wants so badly.
Now, I prefer Steffy's character a lot more than Hope's but the things she has done have been equally as bad (in the past), but I do believe she has some character development.
Now, I see more positive traits from Steffy and has shown that she has slowly moved on with her life and becoming less dependent from Liam. I am honestly glad Steffy has the maturity to see that chasing after Liam will make her life miserable and doesn't want a repeat of her mom and Brookes rivalry over her dad.
But Brooke and Hope always assume Steffy has always got an agenda to push every time Steffy does something that seems to affect Hope's life. Plus they can never give her a break or give her the benefit of the doubt when Steffy has genieune intentions.
Like both seem to think they should be the centre of Ridge's world and that Ridge should have a preference over Hope's well-being than Steffy's. especially since Brooke feels entitled to expect Ridge back up her and Hope 100% and leave Steffy to her own devices.
She just has the expectation that Ridge ignore his daughter and focus on her family over his. I get that having a supportive spouse/ partner is important and you want to feel like you have someone on your side all the time.
Brooke however takes this to the extreme and doesn't want Ridge to have a good father/daughter relationship with Steffy at all, while expecting Ridge to taker her side 100% over Steffy’s. It seems as though Brooke has held onto a deep resentment towards Steffy because she sees her being like Taylor (obviously as Steffy’s mother) and for stepping on her precious Hope’s happiness and fate with Liam. She just sees Steffy as nothing but trouble and can’t see her as anything but the immature, highly manipulative person Steffy once was.
Including the hypocrisy of Brooke shaming Steffy for using her sexuality to get what she wants, yet Brooke in the past has done so and tried to stop Taylor and Ridges relationship.
They can't give Steffy a break or the benefit of the doubt, it's just they deem her guilty beforehand and automatically assume she's just manipulating her way through life like always.
it's my speculation that Brooke has no idea or has forgotten that Ridge may still have the scars of losing Phoebe all those years ago. Its been a long time since then, but it would not surprise me if that event weighed heavily on him and wished he was there in her life more.
Like for real,Brooke! Phoebe literally died in her dad's arms and you expect him to get over it so easily?! In that situation, I can honestly believe that he most likely felt a lot of guilt and felt like a failure for not being there for Phoebe as he was in and out of their hers, Steffy’s and Thomas’ lives and wishes he could have done more to be a part of their lives and providing some form of family stability.
This loss may have contributed to him to trying to be a better dad to Steffy, as he is trying to make sure he cares for her well-being and support her too. As the loss of one child devastated him deeply, as would any parent who lost their child(ren), that pain will never truly go away and something that will haunt a parent for the rest of their lives. Like I’m glad he is now sticking up for Steffy and defending her now, as Steffy doesn’t deserve to be unnecessarily dog piled on and used as a scapegoat for Hope’s problems.
I can assume most parents who have more than 1 child, do not wish to experience the loss of another child/children as it already extremely heart break and life shattering enough and therefore want to do everything in their power not to lose any of their remaining children. A loss of a child (including babies and infants) is a traumatic experience for any parent to go through and should not be taken lightly as I can assume that pain never truly goes away for anyone, no matter how much time has passed.
Brooke however has never experienced that loss at all and can't relate to him. I'm not suggesting the writers do that by killing off her children. But Brooke doesn't take Ridge's feelings into consideration and makes it worthless by downplaying or dismissing them as being biased. Umm excuse me?! Brooke, you’re holding a double standard here! You automatically jump to Hope’s defence when someone questions her actions but Ridge can’t do the same thing for Steffy? Both Steffy and Hope are adults, but Ridge has the right to defend his own daughter, just as much as Brooke does.
I fear the show will do to Steffy the exact same thing to her mom, Taylor. Agreed her mother isn't a saint and should know better as a medical professional especially being a psychiatrist, with actual knowledge of psychology and IS AN ACTUAL MEDICAL DOCTOR.
The writers however make Taylor look batsh*t crazy and can never give her a reasonable storyline.
I know she is only human and this show is a soap opera, so plot holes will occur with every storyline that plays out.
I do see that the show treats Taylor more poorly than Brooke.
As the show puts Brooke on a pedestal and Taylor is just a side character, like the showrunners make Brooke and Hope more and more insufferable with each new episode.

He really loved Taylor just like he loved Caroline. He only lusted for Brooke there was no damn destiny with him how can destiny be with someone that you have to chase behind. This show made Brooke out to be the best sex they'd ever had. Then damn what is they saying about the other women on the show...that they are trash in the bedroom. But I hope they get this show out of the gutter and bring in the other characters have more and better storyline

Also, when the soap returns or if it ever will that we see Steffy create her own line and finally find a man for herself and make Liam feel insecure about the man in her and Kelly’s life. I know this is mean but I actually want Beth to turn out to be someone’s else baby because they never got a DNA test. Non that we seen on screen. Also, I want Steffy to get Douglas and have Thomas go to the cuckoo house and get better. Bring Karen back to have some say so in her grandson’s life.

This show is all over the place it's bad enough that the originals of the show like Brooke and Ridge and Taylor and there was always that love triangle between them which I really wish today they had given Taylor her happy ending with Ridge because I found it annoying that he couldn't forgive her for one mistake that she made but Brooke had like a million scandals and mistakes that weren't OK and he always went back to her and then to make it worse now it's spilt over with their children and it's like the same toxic circle on and on and on again terrible example And it's just really crazy but then again that's why it's called daytime television At least come up with a new angle make brooke I don't know falling in love with someone knew and stay with that person Or allow her to choose herself for once and give her like a sense of like strong independence or something like something new other than what we've seen over and over and over again
