Liam and Hope have a heart-to-heart discussion about their current circumstances and what their future may hold. Ridge comforts a devastated. Still unsure of Liam’s decision about staying with her and the baby, Steffy heads home from the hospital.
JMW looks so beautiful without all the heavy extreme eye makeup… she’s a wonderful actress and a gorgeous woman!
In 2023, Hope used the excuse that it was Liam's divided feelings that caused the end of their marriage, but it was Hope kissing Thomas that ended it for Liam. Hope chased a man who was in a relationship and Steffy was pregnant. Brooke caused the most pain to Hope always pushing Hope on Liam

It's funny looking back at these old episodes because now hope messed up her marriage and Sheffy has nothing to do with it
These scenes from childbirth to them as new parents are some of the sweetest Steam moments ever. This was well done by B&B. They did not gloss over this birth and the navigating as new parents Just magical and played extremely well by SC and JW. Rare to find chemistry and connection like this. Way different than her connection with Finn and the birth of Hayes.

Episodes like this show me that Hope isn't a bad person. She just gets too caught up with all of her mother's 'concerns and pressures' and it almost always leads to more heartbreak for Hope. If she would stand up to her mother more often and make her own decisions, I would definitely like her more. Brooke is the problem and I really wish someone would put her in her place.
Hope was never from the beginning a bad person, she's actually nicer than Steffy in my opinion.

I Love JMW, Kim Matilda and Annika Nicole. Three of the best actresses in soaps. But JMW is my favorite. And I want Finn to wake up and go home!
Hope should have not been checking for Liam anyway while he was separated from Steffy.

Melissa_lifeinthebooks so in response to that I will say this. Hope and Liam had chance after chance to get it together and something always came between them and that was not always Steffy. It was Liam and Hope getting in their way. Hope was with Oliver wayyy before Liam and Oliver rejected Steffy’s advances what is Liam’s excuse? When Steffy left for Paris after she lost the baby. There was no one standing in there way. Then Wyatt came on the scene and Hope wanted Liam to feel what she felt all those times he was with Steffy which was understandable but even with Wyatt she wanted Liam. Both characters are childish and need to grow up and they are perfect for each other. Santimonious, hypocritical, and boring. Liam was only interesting with Steffy. I’m not saying what Steffy did during those times wasn’t wrong. She was a chip off her stepmother’s block but the difference is Steffy grew up. Hope never did, hell even Brooke didn’t really grow up but just got older. Hope was holding on to an old love that she couldn’t let the idea go that they weren’t meant for each other. Liam and Hope work better with other people. Now the past is the past because when Hope left Liam could have went after her. Liam could have told Ivy he still lived Hope and wanted a chance with her. Steffy is too much of a woman for Liam. Is she flawed? Yes but so is Hope. Hope should have never went after Liam while he was separated from Hope. There was a child involved and Liam needed time to heal and forgive Steffy. The point is there was a baby coming and Steffy could have lost that baby due to the stress of Bill harassing her, Hope going after Liam, and Liam’s indecisiveness. The real victim in this is Kelly. Hope wasn’t thinking about Kelly and as soon as she found out she was pregnant it was like Kelly didn’t matter no more. The writers should have never made Hope pregnant.

I think people bring it up because Liam would not come out of his hotel or speak to anyone. When she first got back he was the only one he would talk to. Stephy asked her if she would talk to Liam on her be half especially since she was pregnant. Hope did start out trying to make Liam see he needed to work on things with Stephy because of his baby. She didn't let her feelings for Liam confuse her or get in the way until Wyatt started telling them Stephy was still sleeping with Bill, she got played just like Liam was it wrong yes but everyone knows you never completely get over your real first love. People can hate Hope if the want to, I will be honest and say I have always been a Hope fan so I personally will say she started off with good intentions and her and Stephy were actually getting along and looked like a bond was forming. I wish they would become super close like sisters I think they could be a real power couple but it's not far she gets blamed for everything and Stephy never see's the wrong within herself.
I really have zero sympathy for Hope. She did this to herself by pushing Liam to end things with Steffy, after telling Steffy she supported her marriage to Liam. Lying, entitled, selfish brat.

She did support their marriage until they thought Liam shot Bill, that’s when it changed and Hope was honest about that to Steffy.

The difference is: Liam filed for annulment and proposed to Hope, while Steffy and Liam hooked up being committed to their actual partners who treated them correctly. I think the second misdeed is worse on both parts (Steffy and Liam) and has nothing to do with karma

It's kind of biased no matter what since Kim Matula's Hope had the equivalent history of Jmw as Steffy. Hope was actually getting more spicier and matured when she was with Wyatt and had the glamour. Annika is nice but would love for her to tap into the Hope that was becoming more spicier and sophisticated and mature not just goody goody...that melted away with Wyatt. Miss u Kim. Annika reach into that edge and material. No more crying whiny purest. She can be good with an edge that was the best of Hope b4 Milan.

Yup, that's what happens when Hope is left alone to make her own decisions and Brooke can't influence her thinking. Hope literally looked him in the eyes and told him he needs to be with Steffy. That's about as straightforward as it gets.
Hope is letting Liam go because she knows he was going back to Steffy anyway… she always has a need to be seen as the one who decides what Liam does.
Hope literally said "you need to be with Kelly which means you need to be with Steffy too." You are getting what you want yet you are STILL trying to spin this to make Hope seem like a bad person. It just never ends with you haters does it?
