Astonishing! What a band - and Chris Potter sitting in takes them from merely stellar into the stratosphere. The whole album is one of the best I've heard in many years.
The pocket on that sax player is on a whole 'nother level. I couldn't help but imagine a Kusturica movie with this as its soundtrack. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Balkan music has so much power of movement in itself that its nearly impossible to sit still while listening to it. Kudos to y'all for slayin' it.
