Those lights are amazing William and I really can't wait to see you recreate your father's truck and that's so awesome to have pictures with you and his truck ❤️ and have fun at the NNL and find some cool old models and my buddy Doane Yawger will be there and I don't really know what I'd pick because I love all cars lol 😊
I was just talking to John yesterday at amateur scale model builder who had just finished a pick-up that his dad used to own. I think it's so cool to build something from your past like that. He had to have custom decals made too. As for which kit.. I liked what you said about this kit having so much potential for customizing. Something that gets everyone's creative juices flowing. The first thing that came to my mind that fit that bill is the MPC Racers Wedge. Even though I just finished one a few months ago, that kit has tons of things you could do to it. Second choice is a toss up between a station wagon or a van, but I don't know if there is one of those that's easy for everyone to find. Or maybe you and John have the right idea, to build something from the builders past, and hopefully at least one picture of it?
Wow, a van would be so cool and like this truck, there are so many ways you can go with it. I’m still doing my dads truck but don’t have time to finish it before the deadline so I will just swap chassis after the group build. I will have it in a future video. Thanks for checking it out!
@@ruckusrodkustom8140 in 50 years of modeling, I've never built one! Watching Jess over at scale model snail 🐌 is giving me the itch something bad! All those cool vans that I never bought like the KISS van, A-team, SWAT, all those murals...
Very nice work on the USACC builds William. Lights look great. As for the kit that I would choose maybe a monogram 29 kit it has a few versions of it but might be hard to find for some. Fun kit to build.
Bills speed shop Carmel, Indiana. Too cool. Carmel isn’t far away from me. Hope you build your dad’s truck sometime. Those wheels are sweet. What a cool old truck. I don’t know what kit I would choose for the group build. That’s a tough question. Maybe the 67 Impala. Stock, street rod, drag, beater, open up the 4 door and you could do military or police or fire department or anything you could think of.
@@ruckusrodkustom8140 yeah, no speed shops in Carmel anymore, I’d wager. And I realized you were building your dad’s truck just with different wheels. I’m a little slow sometimes. Enjoyed the video and can’t wait for the next update.
Really cool update. I can't wait to see the finished build. And if I was to have the chance to choose a kit for the USACC gb, that would be hard for me to choose lol. They are so many cool kits out there it would be hard for me to pick a good one.
we have a real 1954 ford F-100 , original paint and interior - 312 ci 3 speed with overdrive - belly burners and wide whites ..... if your interested ?
I'm late to the show but thanks for the shout out William. Lot of kool stuff you got going on with that truck build.👍🤠👍 Awesome!

Nice work, William! It's really coming together. I love those backlite gouges. If I got to pick the next GB it would have to be a nova.
Thank! I wish I had chopped the top like yours. Nova is a great choice! Thx for watching!

Looks amazing so far!
Thanks so much! After seeing last year’s entries, I feel I needed to put more effort into it
@@ruckusrodkustom8140 unfortunately I just started mine last weekend so I’m going to have to skip some of the details I wanted to do.

Very nice build.... I would choose the 53 chevy bel air... first kit i built as a kid.
I didn’t think about that. That would be a good choice. Many directions you can go with that
