Looking Good. you've moved into a new chapter of your building. And you did it with the USACC build. Very cool! So now your next Chop Up Build with be better. That's the key. Learn with every build and make the next one better.
Jason, I enjoy your channel all the time! You mentioned you like to talk a lot so that's all the better, i get to see more episodes! Anyway, you were showing the pieces of your F 100 build and I really like the headliner idea you have to cover up the junk under the roof 😎👍 The truck looks great in white with the plaid interior, pretty cool! I look forward to seeing it come January
Jason, it really looks good brother!!!! Like all what you have done!!!!!! I always wondered what that chassis would look like detailed up. Looks awesome!!!!
I love it! That frame is really cool. Looking forward to your final. I have used the USSAC builds to go way out on a limp as far as my comfort levels go. So far I haven't had any disasters and have learned a tremendous amount (mainly what not to do!) 🙂
Jason, I am super hyped by what I've seen of your build so far! Honestly, you and I appear to have had a similar vision in mind with our builds! I figured there would be a bit of overlap between some builders. I'm looking forward to the big reveal (reveals?) next year!!
I think we’ve all been there. But as long as you’re having fun that’s the main thing, right? One of the things that keeps me from rushing on builds is actually having the multiple builds at a time going. It allows me to set things aside if I need to. I tried doing one at a time but then I’d get in a rush and not be able to wait when I needed to and inevitable mess something up. A good lesson for us all to remember though. So thanks for the update and the reminder!
I hear you brother on a lot of what you are saying, I tend to keep 2-3 builds going since jumping on UA-cam and getting in group builds etc. I like doing that because while things are setting on one build, I can jump into another. There are times I feel exactly what you describe in rushing certain parts or as you get towards the finish line, I've learned to stop, take a good look at everything and sometimes even put it all aside, then come back, lay everything out and start fresh to reset the mind. Non the less, I can see the progression in your building, great job in venturing out of the comfort zone, you've done a great job in what I can see in this build and I'm pretty sure you have a learned a lot as well! Doing great brother, keep it up!
Great job so far! I picked up some of that tape, wasn't sure how I was going to use it! I usually print patterns on decal paper for interiors. Head liner is a sweet touch! Looking forward to seeing the complete build!
I do something similar with more than one kit being built at one time. I try to limit myself to two at once as I find things get blurred in my old brain. Have to keep as much fog out there. The truck is coming along great and looks fantastic. Lastly, my bottom line is to always have fun with what I'm building. Take care Jason!
Looking good bro. I need to make a trip to hobby lobby and you’ve given me some great ideas. Awesome tips!! Im still learning how to properly prepare for those major alterations myself. It’s how we learn to be better builders. I’m probably not going to make the deadline but it is what it is don’t beat yourself up for it bro.
SHe's looking great, Jason. I have the same issue. I want ti have mine done for the deadline AND for NNL West. I have an unexpected day off tomorrow and I plan to work on my 55. I can say, watching other guys on YT working on their builds gives to inspiration to work on my own!
Awesome I got 15 builds going on right now my top fuel engine diorama explosion my custom Ford trucks Chevy trucks 1/8th scale nova 1/16th scale custom semi truck hauler with race trailer two drag cars for that 1/16th scale rig and a lot more happy modeling and happy holidays
Thanks for keeping great videos coming. I see you have the same bonneville salt flats sign that model car videos has, can you tell me where you got it, thanks
Looks great to me Jason. Thanks for putting the link to your podcast on your facebook page. For some reason my phone does not like spoyify. Probably user error. Thanks
That’s where I was with the NASCAR and usacc builds. Tossed them both on the shelf. I basically just lost interest in them. There’s probably a couple more group builds that are going to go the same way. Have a peaceful weekend.
Nice update Jason 55 is looking great. I got way to many projects started time to get them finished.

I didn’t really look at it that way, thanks buddy!!!
I’m using paint samples from Lowe’s as a headliner. You can always get the color you want. Looking really nice Jason!
That’s a great idea

Great progress on ur USACC build! Really like the headliner idea!

I was going to mention covering up the ejection marks rather than sanding them, but you beat me to it, good job. 👍
Thanks!

Thanks Ajax!! Yeah I see a few folks going this direction. I love this group build!!
Look foward to seeing it done anyways. It may not be up to your standards but the inspiration to others is there. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks I appreciate that!

I recently learned about it , and find it very forgiving, and easy to use.
Lookin awesome Jason. Love the way the 55 is coming out. We all want to get to the finish line. Enjoy your weekend

Dude your F-1 is looking sweet, love the direction and engine selection.. I have not even started mine lol..
A lot of folks are saying that lol.
Nice work so far. You can probably sand that glue off of the bed, and it will be fine. Thanks for sharing.
Can’t wait for the finished build. Send us some pics of that chassis and engine. We’d like to use them on our site, if you’re ok with it. 🙌🏼
Thanks, and ok I’ll reach out to you.
